 *Monsoon & Common Health Problems According to Ayurveda*

In Ayurveda, monsoon (Varsha Ritu) is considered a sensitive season for health. The digestive fire (Agni) becomes weakened, and Vata and Pitta doshas often get vitiated, leading to several seasonal disorders.


🌿 Common Health Issues in Monsoon (Varsha Ritu):

1. *Indigestion (Ajeerna) & Low Appetite (Agnimandya)*
Due to low digestive fire (Agni).
Common complaints: bloating, heaviness, flatulence.

Tip: Drink warm water with cumin or ginger, eat light & freshly cooked food.


2. *Joint Pain (Vata Vyadhi)*
Increased Vata causes stiffness and pain in joints, especially in elderly or those with arthritis.

Tip: Apply warm medicated oils (like Mahanarayan oil), avoid AC/damp exposure.


3. *Skin Infections & Fungus* (Kustha)
High humidity leads to fungal infections, itching, boils.

Tip: Use our Neem-based soaps, wear dry cotton clothes, apply turmeric + coconut oil paste.


4. *Respiratory Problems (Pratishyaya / Kasa)*
Cold, cough, asthma can worsen due to damp weather and allergens.

Tip: Use herbal decoctions like Tulsi-Ginger-Honey, *avoid curd and cold foods.*


5. *Diarrhoea & Waterborne Infections (Atisara, Jwara)*
Impure or contaminated water may cause loose motions, fever, or vomiting.

Tip: Always boil or filter water Add tulsi leaves 🍃 , eat light foods like rice-gruel (kanji), *avoid raw salads*.

*Ayurvedic Lifestyle Tips in Monsoon:*
1. Diet (Ahara):
Eat warm, light, easily digestible food.
Include moong dal, old rice, ghee, soups.
Avoid raw, oily, or fermented food.
2. Daily Routine (Dinacharya):
Wake up early.
Mahanarayana Oil massage with warm oil (Abhyanga).
Avoid sleeping during daytime.
3. Avoid:
Curd, cold drinks, stale food.
Excessive exposure to rain.
Walking barefoot on wet ground.
4. Useful Herbs:
Trikatu churna (for digestion).
Giloy decoction (for immunity).
Neemsoap (for skin).
Pippali powder with honey (for lungs)
