శ్లో"బాల స్తావత్ క్రీడాసక్తః తరుణ స్తావత్ తరుణీసక్తః | వృద్ధ స్తావత్-చింతామగ్నః పరమే బ్రహ్మణి కోపి న లగ్నః || 7 ||

అర్ధం:-భావం: మానవుడు - బాలుడుగా ఉన్నప్పుడు ఆటపాటల మీద ఆసక్తి కలిగి ఉంటాడు,

యౌవనం లో స్త్రీల పట్ల ఆసక్తి కలిగి ఉంటాడు, వృద్ధాప్యంలో చింతలతో సతమతం అవుతుంటాడు. కానీ ఆ పరమాత్మ యందు ఆసక్తిని చూపే వారెవరూ.                                Verse "A child is fond of games, a youth is fond of games, a man is fond of old age, a man is fond of thoughts, a man is fond of the Brahman, a man is fond of women, a man is fond of worries in old age. But who is fond of the Supreme Being?
