*🌻 9. జీవితంలో అత్యున్నత విలువను గుర్తించడం 🌻*

*ఈ ప్రపంచం చివరకు ఒకరి కోరికలను కూడా తీర్చే స్థితిలో లేదు. ప్రపంచం మొత్తం దాని బంగారం, వెండి, బియ్యం, వడ్లు, గోధుమలు, అవి ఏవైనా  మీకు పూర్తిగా ఇస్తే, అది కూడా మీకు సంతృప్తికరంగా ఉండదు. 'ప్రపంచమంతా నాతో ఉంది.' అయితే సరే. మీరు సంపూర్ణంగా సంతృప్తి చెందారా? ఎన్ని చేసినా, మీరు రెండు కారణాల వల్ల కూడా సంతోషంగా ఉండలేరు. వాటిలో ఒకటి: “ ఈ ప్రపంచానికి పైన కూడా ఏదో ఉంది. అది కూడా ఎందుకు నాది కాకూడదు?” ఒక గ్రామం ఉన్న వ్యక్తికి మరో గ్రామం కూడా కావాలి. మీకు అన్ని గ్రామాలు ఉంటే, మీరు మొత్తం రాష్ట్రాన్ని కావాలనుకుంటారు. రాష్ట్రం మీ కింద ఉంటే దేశం మొత్తం కావాలి. దేశం మీ కింద ఉంటే, మీరు మొత్తం భూమిని కావాలనుకుంటారు. అయితే భూమి పైన ఉన్నది కూడా ఎందుకు మనది కాకూడదు? కాబట్టి అసంతృప్తి ఉంది.*

*“పైన ఏముంది? లేదు, ఇది మంచిది కాదు; నా పైన నేను నియంత్రించలేని, అర్థం చేసుకోలేనిది ఏదో ఉంది.' ప్రపంచం పైన, ప్రపంచం వెలుపల ఏదో ఒకటి ఉండటం మిమ్మల్ని మళ్లీ అసంతృప్తికి గురి చేస్తుంది. రెండవ అంశం: “ఈ ప్రపంచం మొత్తాన్ని నేను ఎంతకాలం స్వాధీనం చేసుకుంటాను? ఏదైనా హామీ ఉందా?” ఎవరికీ తెలియదు. తదుపరి క్షణం మీరు ఇక్కడ ఉండకపోవచ్చు. 'అవునా అలాగా. కాబట్టి, రేపు నేను దాని నుండి విసర్జించబడబోతున్నట్లయితే, మొత్తం ప్రపంచాన్ని కలిగి ఉండటం వల్ల ప్రయోజనం ఏమిటి? ” ఆ విధంగా, జీవితంలో ఒక అత్యున్నత విలువను గుర్తించడం మరియు దానిని జీవితంలో ఒకరి ప్రయత్నానికి లక్ష్యంగా ఆరాధించాల్సిన అవసరం దేవత లేదా వేదాలలో చెప్పబడిన దైవత్వం అయింది.*

*🌻 9. The Recognition of a Supreme Value in Life 🌻*

*This world is not in a position to satisfy the desires of even one person, finally. If the whole world is given to you with all its gold and silver, rice and paddy, wheat and whatever it is, you will not find it satisfying. “The whole world is with me.” All right. Are you perfectly satisfied? You will be unhappy even then, for two reasons. One of them is: “After all, there is something above this world. Why not have that also?” A person who has a village wants another village also. If you have all the villages, you would like the entire state. If the state is under you, you want the entire country. If the country is under you, you would like the whole Earth. But why not have something above the Earth? So there is a dissatisfaction.*

*“What is above? No, this is no good; there is something above me which I cannot control, which I cannot understand.” The presence of something above the world, outside the world, will make you unhappy again. The second point is: “How long will I be in possession of this whole world, sir? Is there any guarantee?” Nobody knows. The next moment you may not be here. “Oh, I see. So, what is the good of possessing the whole world, if tomorrow I am going to be dispossessed of it?” Thus, the recognition of a supreme value in life, and the need to adore it as the objective and the goal of one's endeavour in life, became the Devata, or the Divinity of the Vedas.*
