(00:07) I'm just moving my hands slowly. So today I'm going to introduce one of the powerful techniques to calm your mind. You don't have to need any dress. You don't have to have a good company or a good ashram or a good place. For example, to perform yoga, your empty your stomach should be empty. But the experiment which I'm going to show, it is one of the ancient technique actually.
(00:40) Not created by me, but anybody can practice. So from the morning to evening, we will be doing many many activities. We'll be lifting something. We'll be putting [clears throat] something somewhere. We'll be speaking to somebody. We'll be walking. We'll be [clears throat] talking. We'll be taking bath.
(01:01) We'll be looking up, looking down, sitting, this and that. So life is nothing but act. The combination of acts called life. If you take that into time, the combination of movements is called life. A good life is combination of good movements. Bad life is combination of bad movements. Good home is combination of good objects. Good village means combination of good people.
(01:30) So, to experience anything, we we should have a calm mind, a pleasant mind, a peaceful mind. You are You will not You cannot buy them buy these things in a shop. Everyone has to understand by one themselves. Otherwise, it is not possible to understand by reading a book. You have to experiment with your life. So this is a simple experiment.
(02:01) Just for 3 days do it. You will see a change. Whenever you are angry at somebody, whenever you are disturbed for some reason, you just slow down your movement. That's all. You don't have to do chant any mantra. You don't have to um taking deep breath and you don't have to do pranayama. You don't have to do sit in a place. No.
(02:24) Wherever you are, whether you are at the road or in the bathroom or in the temple or the roadside, doesn't matter. For example, suddenly you argue with somebody. You are suddenly became angry. You are venting, you know, that anger. I just remember this. Just slow down your process. For example, you are just coming like this.
(02:46) Then you just say, "Stop. Don't speak to me." Then you your You have to reduce your speed. Just remember that one particular moment. And just any part of you, particularly hands. Just my hands. Just slowly. As slow as possible. Some circle motion. Just do anything. And there is no um fixed method for this. Any move Just do this. Create a bubble.
(03:43) And relax. I do namaskar. Become a bird. Everything slow. Just do 2 minutes. Your entire psychological framework will take a shift. I'm not joking. Since you are watching the video, you will not understand. Just stop watching the video right now. Just do this. This is one of the easiest meditation methods on planet.
(04:14) You don't have to have anything. Whether you are in a bathroom, on the roadside, and for example, you are in a meeting. Suddenly you you are disturbed. You just do this. You don't have to look at the hand. Be in the meeting, but just be aware of that moment. Is what you have to And to extend this experiment and making this into a lifestyle, anybody [clears throat] can do this experiment. I did.
(04:48) That's why I'm telling you. It really works. It will make you understand million things. Because practically you understand. For example, come to the kitchen. I'll demonstrate something. Now, so these four things. So every third act, for example, you are preparing something, you are putting something in the shelf, every third act you have to slow down or every fifth act you have to slow slow down.
(05:22) Just remember that. For example, now I'm just arranging and rearranging my shelf. This is the first one. This is the second one. So every third you have to just slow down. I get a point. Just slow down. At least once in 1 hour, slow down your process for 2 minutes. This small act will change your life
(06:07) completely. When I'm alone in my bedroom, my activities completely slow. I don't rush. If there is any CC camera, people can see it. But I don't have any CC camera. So there are only two two places there are no CC camera. Everywhere there is CC camera. Even garbha gudis, the sanctum sanctorum is also having CC cameras, except the bathroom and bedroom.
(06:31) So uh those two places you really can experiment with your life. So when you are sleeping, do this. When you went to a uh relative's house, don't sit idle. Experiment [clears throat] this. Whenever you are angry, whenever you are disturbed, whenever you are There is any psychological problem, >> [clears throat] >> immediately you can reset it.
(08:07) For example, whenever our phone doesn't work, we switch and switch off the phone and switch on the phone. You are switching on and switching off. Just You are doing lot of activity. You dance for 3 hours. Suddenly, slow down the process. And you can when you are going walk, people walk like this. And our bound era, slow down the process.
(08:34) And you will find natural rhythm. In tai chi, they actually teach this. So just slow down your movements. That's
(09:19) all I want to say. Just slow down. Speak slowly. Walk slowly. Act slowly. Come slowly. Every 1 hour slow down the process. People remember things. Right? Remember this also. Give this uh bathroom calendar and I can shake it for 3 hours. Give this for 10 seconds. Remember. In the same way, remember every 1 1 and 1/2 hour, you just slow down your space.
(09:46) There are two words in English. Tomorrow we'll talk about it. Speed and pace. This is called finding your own pace. And Zen says, "Whosoever found their own pace, they see their own face. It means self-realization. You found your speed. You found your pace. You There is no comparison at all. You're not paying attention to people what they think about you. No.
(10:10) Don't waste time thinking about others. Only stupid people do that. Completely indulging into your activity. Slow down the process. Anything Suddenly after 1 hour suddenly you alarm came, then slow down the process. Actually, you came to pick up this bag like this. Alarm was ringing. After 2 minutes, I just do that.
