(00:00) They did like this. Then you produce one mudra. Andy said man. >> Now it's very easy to put hands together, put them together, rub and bring something up. It's not a big deal. >> It's not a big deal. >> And the also up this time. >> Yeah. To practice anything requires sacrifice, consistency. >> Why are we here today? So that you kind of rise up from the difficulties that uh may be coming.
(00:34) >> Why did the difficulties come in the first place? >> Any difficulty, any suffering, it's a blessing. >> What's the immediate next [music] world that we go to? >> Those people who do good, as soon as they die, they go to that world of happiness. >> But then they come back. >> Everything that we think, even what I'm telling you is preddecided by us.
(00:56) these times that we are living in. Isn't that also predecided? >> Whatever is created is to be destroyed. So this will happen >> are the nagas still on earth >> there are not only naga there are many kinds of beings on that we cannot see them doesn't mean they don't exist. >> You don't know what kind of beings you are >> exactly and we should try to explore our own mind and when you are mature enough all things will come to you.
(01:21) I'm going to watch and rewatch this episode a lot. Almost every week of the last 2 or 3 years, I've prayed to have you back in the studio. [music] [music] Sheream sir, welcome back. >> Thank you. >> Such an important episode. This is I almost every week of the last two or three years. I've prayed to have you back in the studio. So very very happy.
(02:07) >> Sorry because I was traveling a lot. >> No no I would have come. I [snorts] enjoy your through you there's no uh >> no no thank you sir from you I've learned that it's always the higher beings deciding uh >> very true >> human destiny um >> you know so I've met very interesting people through the show celebrities >> uh what I've heard is even the biggest celebrities in the country like Virat Kohli >> have seen those two episodes >> you know there was magic in those two episodes so whenever I'm sitting in front of you I don't prepare I know
(02:39) something has to flow >> that's nice that's good >> uh How are you sir? >> I'm good. Traveling a lot trying to instill principles and action in people and you'll be you you won't be surprised but most of my satsang more young people >> of course >> because the old are still stuck in the some framework >> difficult for them to come out but here the young are still open.
(03:11) If you don't look into that, they will probably subside into things which are not good >> for the world and for the country. >> Uh we have to address the elephant in the room, sir. >> Uh the last time we had that RDRA moment, right, >> that went hyper viral on the internet. >> I've had all sorts of people say all sorts of things to me.
(03:34) I'm sure you've experienced the same. >> Uh so >> I want to clear that chapter. >> Yes. The thing is I said in the beginning when we started that this is not something which is uh uh spiritual thing you stay with me for 10 days and you can also do it. You remember I told you? >> Yes. >> Yes. So it's a why I did was that when people do such things they think that they are uh gods.
(04:07) They're not gods. PC circa can also do that. You can do that. I can do that. It's not a very big thing. The thing is we have to get out of these things and go to spiritual aspect. The biggest miracle is life. >> You don't expect any more miracle. Now it's very easy to put hands together, put them together, rub and bring something up.
(04:33) >> It's not a big deal. >> It's not a big deal. >> Again, >> and this I can give it to you. It won't go anywhere. >> And the sleeves also up this time. >> Yeah. Oh my god. >> There are no sleeves. Yeah. >> Keep it. >> Oh my. >> Thank you. [clears throat] Now why I'm I why I'm doing this is basically to let you know that this is not what we are looking for.
(04:58) These are magic tricks. I it was here with me. I just made it appear before you in some way. The idea is to divert your attention. This is what they do. Suppose I am functioning in the situation where Satya Sai Baba is functioning. Then nobody's looking what he's doing. He does what he wants. And so you can produce ash.
(05:24) Let me explain this to you because people shouldn't get caught up in these little things. It helps to keep your faith a little bit but doesn't take you anywhere. Now you people say how can you produce bibuti when it is powder form? >> How can it come? Very simple. It's available in solid form. Pills.
(05:47) So it is hidden somewhere here, somewhere here and then when you do this and press hard it falls as a powder. So it's not we should become more scientific and look at things actually. So this is the reason why I did that but it went the other way around. People said it's a miracle it is. No, I did it from beginning to show that this is not the most important thing and it can be done by you and me.
(06:14) You come to me and stay for three four days you'll also do it. Have you become spiritual? No. You see the reason why I people say from the mouth some linga was produced right one big this is if you look carefully the guy is handing him a towel because he's trying to wit like making movements. So like that the last time the towel goes there is a linga in it.
(06:43) He just takes it to his mouth does all that kind of movie action then the towel it is already in his mouth >> you see this and then he thinking that it is produced and then people take it and keep it at where are we are we in the vantic real world of the Hindu system or are we caught up with all this it's for that that I showed that it's not a big deal Yeah. Yeah.
(07:13) Yeah. I think uh there was a lot of skeptics also who saw that episode. >> I'm so glad. >> They asked questions and they're right also in a way. >> Yeah. Uh I mean I've been in rooms where people have shouted at me for not challenging you and I'm like you don't. >> So that is why I want to close that chapter today and say that there's nothing much to this.
(07:32) These are all things which are done. It brings about some faith in people. But the greatest miracle is you plant a seed and it sprouts and grows into a huge tree. What better miracle does one want? This is God's miracle. >> Yeah. >> The sun rises every day. The moon is moving from a small dot of salmon that goes into a woman's womb.
(07:57) A whole human being is produced. Thinking, walking, look. You see what better miracle? How is this happening? What is this? This is the essence of being not all this. It is basically to eliminate this that I did it >> for you >> because people will say you can say all these things but you cannot do it. >> Yeah.
(08:18) Yeah. I'm actually relaying a question to you from some of my cricketer friends again and I have heard that Virat Kohli also had the same question. M >> I think the slightly I won't say the largest but the larger conversation here with this thing you've produced out of thin air is how maya can be manipulated almost >> right there's a veil around us which is invisible uh what have you exactly done yourself >> yeah see the maya the word maya means illusion what are magicians called illusionist [laughter] it need not mean in that sense that The
(08:53) whole Brahma that vantic maya when you say maya it means misdirection of attention illusury things this is maya so how did I produce it it was already with me you didn't see it so this is maya >> as in you you were hiding it on your body >> somewhere >> okay >> I won't tell you because the poor magicians will go out of job [laughter] but but I was it was somewhere with me when I came in it was with me I couldn't have brought it from thin air nobody can do it >> nobody can do it >> so it is a misdirection of attention see
(09:34) when uh uh somebody says look here then I'm also looking there naturally you will also look there that's when the other hand does the mischief >> got it got you gota Okay. Where do we begin sir? Uh it's been 5 years I think since our first conversation >> is it? >> Yeah maybe >> four or five years. >> You can begin wherever you want to.
(10:03) Whatever appeals to you what is natural. I feel that you are a great inspiration for the younger generation. This because many people who meet me for the first time, oh we saw you for the first time in they don't talk about rudaka or anything of that kind but they're impressed. They they know because there's a young person coming sitting down and trying spending his time to figure out these things.
(10:29) So this is the reason why I'm here. >> No, thank you sir. I just want to be very transparent. >> You can keep it here. Nothing will happen. It won't disappear unless I want it to. >> Thank you sir. >> This is going to go right next to the Rdra you gave me for you. >> Thank you. Thank you sir. Um I have so many things to say.
(10:51) U you [snorts] know uh I think I had a certain purpose related to this show and I remember I think the second time I met you I told you I want to stop the show which was back in 2023. >> Yes. >> And you said no no you can't stop for four or five years. Yeah, >> those four or five years are getting over now. >> Now, but don't stop.
(11:08) [laughter] It's useful for many people. >> Yeah. Uh I I don't know. I just think there's a change in my purpose as well. I don't know what it is, >> but I think this was a very purpose-driven process for six, seven years. I was answering many of my own questions. >> Uh this is the big pleasure of my job. You know, getting to meet people like yourself. Uh getting to learn so much.
(11:31) Uh but on some level I also question now that I'm in my 30s >> and a lot of people who watch are in their 30s >> something has to shift in every decade of life. I think >> um so I just wonder if it's wise to go away a little bit from the public eye. I also think the world is in chaos and many people in the world are not ready to listen anymore.
(11:54) >> Oh I'm sure people are ready to listen. The angle should be different. Always people are ready to we should go to the essence and not go too much into the outside uh particulars go to the root. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> This is what >> Can I take you back to your 20s, 30s and 40s? Can you just tell me what was different for you in these three decades for your life? But you know if you have read my autobiography that uh when I was very young I was seriously interested in spiritual matters when I was very young. You cannot explain it
(12:35) except that the supreme lord was kind that he planted some seed in my head is all I can say. You can explain it by past birth and so on. Okay. Now from that time my search was very very sharp but at that age 8 n you cannot run away anywhere like you said I want to cross up and go we can't do that right so I continued I went to college I studied I met many people around where I was born who were into spiritual field so-called yogis and basin also some Sufi saints
(13:22) [snorts] and I was continuing then at the age of 19 was a change when I said now I need to relocate myself I cannot be in the same environment I need to relocate myself and pursue what I was looking at with full attention so I ran away for more that was the only way I could do it because you know my background I couldn't have done it at home I ran away I spent three and a half years of intensely working on the spiritual by God's grace I got a teacher who was very serious he was not he was not
(14:07) interested in banners he didn't have ashams he didn't he was barefoot he didn't even have shoes and he was directly ly into the essence of what the ancient teachings have been. I have a feeling, this is my understanding, I have discussed it with Babai, my teacher, that at every uh phase of uh history from the supreme being whom Vanta called Sapar Brahman, the supreme reality, >> ultimate god, >> the ultimate god >> which is not just a a inhuman nonhuman god or shya or anything but it's a
(14:56) conscious being [snorts] according to the Vedas from that that conscious being every phase in history from the beginning sent some gifted people down [snorts] to teach and this what what Babai also believed in this is what I also believe and depending on the circumstances and the situation and the historical context they teach.
(15:27) So it may be different in different uh periods of time but after a while what happens is the followers take up the non-essentials and forget the essential. If you look into world religions for instance there is no world religion. I'm not talking about little sex that come and go. Everything starts with a mystical experience of some person.
(15:57) >> He may be sitting in a cave. He may be in the forest solitude and then it comes. Then he formulates certain things so that the general public which never had this experience may understand this. Okay. So the religion is formed from the mystical experience to the religion in after many years is also gone physically.
(16:24) The unessential which are mainly only practices become more important than the essence. >> People forget what was originally told. >> When this happens the downfall begins. Then people are satisfied with what is convenient to them and what is and forget about the essence of being what was essentially taught.
(16:51) And as the Vedasa declares which means there is only one truth only one >> same as right there is only one. Now that one though Vedas 2,000 years ago declared Different wise men sent at different times for the purpose of reminding people about this have called it by different names. If we miss this essence which comes to us from such ancient times, we are bound
(17:36) to disintegrate, fight with each other and finally destroy ourselves. >> I have two very sharp questions. So both are going on in my head. Um I'm obviously going to ask you the essence of our faith and our land you know and I count all four indic faiths as part of the same faith. >> It's all the same messaging.
(17:59) >> So that's the first question that what is the essence of India originally. Second question I have to ask you about Baba G. Are you still in communion with him? >> No. [snorts] >> But are you able to somehow get his messages? >> No. >> Nothing. But you >> I'm on my own now. I'm independent. That was Babai's intention.
(18:21) He said I don't want to be like you are dependent on act like a medium. I have developed a certain capacities and I put you forth now. Now it is for you to be independent because he didn't depend on anybody himself and he was trying to make me like that. But I do think of it. >> You do think of it >> out of great affection, respect and all that.
(18:45) >> I do think of it. >> Very few people I think practice kria to the degree that you do. And if you practice that much, you are already connected to everything >> to the supreme is what is required. Not just anybody who was in human form. So I wish to ask you that because of this connection you have with the supreme, what is the supreme saying about these times that we are living in 2026 to 2030 because uh it seems like the world is in chaos.
(19:19) Old systems are completely rebooting. >> I also notice a lot of lies >> being celebrated. >> Spread and celebrate. >> Spread and celebrated. Yeah. A lot. uh not to be in a conspiracy theory zone. >> I understand. >> You know, evil people sometimes are being celebrated etc etc. >> What is the supreme being saying? The supreme being is not like us.
(19:44) He doesn't have a mouth to talk or it it let me define the supreme being according to the Vedas. >> Yeah. The supreme being is defined in the Vedas as the supreme Brahman which if I quote can I quote please sir >> from the kenoishad now this kenopanishad comes from the sama veda see every veda has an opishad at the end which is why it's called vedant because the end of the veda end of the samita portions comes the essence of the what has happened before which is called upanisha.
(20:23) It's studied in secret between one or two disciples sitting not in a huge wand up for anything and talking to each other asking questions is the essence of the now kenanishad the word itself mean who w ho who whoad can you imagine it's 2,000 years old and it comes from the sama and the samaveda is the root of all the music systems we have in this country maybe even Outside country sama is not chanted. It is sama.
(20:59) You see it is s. So it is music which means many things can be captured by music which cannot be captured by pros and it is one of the oldest. So important that in the Bhagat Gita Vasa makes Krishna talking to Arjuna say that among the Vedas I am the sama not even Rigua. Okay.
(21:29) Now this opanishad kenopanishad belongs to the sam. You can imagine how important it is. Okay. Now here is the description of the supreme according to the kenopisha. Of course Shankara has written commentaries. Many people have written it's I can I can't go to whole of kenopish for this but let me pick up what is essential first they asking who is it that is behind all that is happening who is the first person being who has initiated the seed of thought you know the thought while it is constructive it is also the biggest obstacle Who has started this whole movement of
(22:18) thought? Who speech you cannot express anything and then not being able to define it. It says that means it is the essence of hearing. It is the essence of seeing it is the essence and so on because there's no way to define it directly. You have to eliminate and eliminate finally find the truth.
(22:59) What Shankara called in adita ni not this not this when the unessential is eliminated what remains is the brahman is the truth now here is a statement from the can open that which the eyes cannot see which means because of which the eye has the capacity to Understand that alone is the supreme Brahman, the ultimate god. Nothing that we worship here.
(23:36) No, this is a more iconoclastic statement than Jr. >> And how old is it? Over 2,000 years old. the essence and then from I it goes on to all other punchas instruments of perception. which the ear cannot hear but because of which we have the capacity to hear. Understand oh student that alone is the truth reality the god the brahman nothing that you worship here namid
(24:23) is very clear right so I think the younger generation should be led back to in fact swami dandasuti started a moment saying go back to the vedas he did many good things he reintroduced widow remarage marriage. He abolished child marriage. Uh he abolished sati where the women used to be pushed into the funeral and so on. He said go back to the Vedas.
(25:01) Nobody could defeat him in an argument because he was such a great Sanskrit scholar. Right? But it didn't succeed because why people like toys to play with. Nobody wants the reality. See you ask me how you do so much ka. Yes. Now it is tough to get up in the morning at 4 when you were really going to sleep. A Sufi man I used to know used to say be careful.
(25:31) 4:00 is the time when Shayan comes to make you sleep. Wake up. So to practice anything requires sacrifice, consistency, applying your mind. We do that for many things but not for understanding the spiritual. That's why we are not able to touch the >> globally. >> Globally >> same thing is happening. >> Same thing. and violence.
(26:01) It's a fact that human we actually don't know anything about nonviolence. We really don't know. We use the word aimsa himsa but we know only himsa. >> Yeah. >> So unless we study himsa properly how it works how it acts we cannot get out of it. >> We need to understand violence first. >> Why? What is this violence? Why is it? Basically, if you look at it, it comes because of human beings total selfishness.
(26:30) >> Ego, >> ego, selfishness. Ego basically means ah I am >> that feeling. What? Okay. Violence is anger, right? It comes out of anger. First anger comes and then violence comes. Now in the Bhagat Gita, there is a very beautiful statement. It says, First the mind associated with vishas which means what is enjoyed by the senses when it continues for a long time we are surrounded by such things then what happens
(27:15) then it becomes a habit then the karma desire the desire karma develops for it and from that desire comes. Now how does anger come from desire? Because I desire this, you also desire this. You're trying to take it away from me. I'm angry. I mean this example it's anger comes from desire and not being able to satisfy one's desire and that agent which is not allowing us to satisfy the desire the anger is directed towards that this is very clear in the and then what is anger it is a short madness >> yeah so yeah
(28:07) anger for Sometime you forget about everything right the the the watchman might in anger hit the boss because he has forgotten where he is what his intelligence has lost >> and when intelligence lost the Gita says the whole life is lost this is the genesis of the violence >> so if expectations don't meet reality leads to internal agitation We actually had some neuroscientists on the show recently who said that there's a theory of permanent reality.
(28:46) >> Yes. >> As in during your anger state, you think that that reality is going to be permanent. >> Absolutely. >> That's what pushes you to that degree of madness. >> Yes. And then it's too late when you realize what harm has been created. >> And you're saying this on a geopolitical level.
(29:01) This is exactly what's happening >> everywhere because why? What is politics? You and me, right? Human beings who is heading a state a person depending on that person's mind the whole thing reflects >> couple of things we have to be very careful of if somebody is [snorts] in one is very difficult sticking to the truth you know that this is what the ancient teachings say we have in all offices including your income tax and RTO offices Where is the tell me? We know we play our bribes, right?
(29:47) So Satya is gone. Satya the only thing that is effective in Kaliuga. If that does not work then the rest of the things follow automatically. Now what happened? You learn to manufacture lies which appear to be the truth. >> [snorts] >> Once you manufacture that then you are stuck to it because you cannot come out of it.
(30:12) >> Then you begin to think that you are very powerful. [snorts] Then the pride gets into your head. You don't realize that the wind blows the we don't have time otherwise I would have given you a small story from the open. >> It will take two minutes. >> Yep. Go ahead. Apparently it happens to most people.
(30:33) It can happen to me. can have in the end of all this philosophical discussion on nam nothing that you worship here and so on says the supreme being God ultimate god the parabrahman found out that the powers of nature like agni wu you know all these they have become filled with pride because they're woripped because they're gods without them nothing will happen on this So they became they forgot that this power which they have comes from that supreme being.
(31:13) Wherever Bhagwatam says wherever there is any amount of power responsibility and uh position >> it is gifted by God >> not doesn't belong to the human being. So they forgot that. So the supreme being decided to test them out. So he came in the keno panchut in the form of an yaka. Now ya is something which we cannot define.
(31:43) It's neither a human being nor a god. Somewhere in between the aa came and stood there. [snorts] So you know the main gods Agni Wu and the king of all gods is supposed to be Indra because Indra is the king of the five senses Indras. They were wondering who is that Dexa standing there? They cannot make up. So Agni said I will go first.
(32:15) So went there and the asked him who are you Agni Jatas I know all the Vedas I can burn down this entire universe in no time one spark is enough who I am not recognizing and understanding that his power to burn comes from that ya which the supreme brahman he forgotten that total pride >> soa plucked a piece of grass [snorts] put it in front of a blade of grass and said burn this >> tried all his tricks he went back why you came why you said brother I will do it don't worry same question I can blow
(33:02) up this whole world I'm the cyclone I'm the blow this went back defeated then came Indra the lord of the gods. But when he went, he couldn't even see where the asha was because the five senses cannot detect the supreme. It is beyond the senses, beyond the mind. Right? So it came back. So then the story is that Parvati the daughter of Himavan manifested very beautiful and said fools all the power that you have comes from that eta the Brahman you have forgotten that this is why he came
(33:48) to show this is the gods if human beings begin to think this way where will the world go where will the universe go you tell me the moment I get power I think I am I can do anything I'm the this is the reason for the violence and the agitation and everything that happens in the world that the leaders are like this >> who are supposed to lead then what will the followers who follow do >> I have two or three tangential questions you okay considering this climate of war we are in considering everything I'm also seeing in the world of global
(34:22) content creation >> first of all I feel that all these spiritual leaders that I met through the show. >> Uh most of them have reached like kind of near the end of their physical lifetimes. >> Mhm. >> And I have started to think that were they in this lifespan to prepare us for this phase that's happening right now.
(34:45) Second thing I feel is um I think we're going to see a lot of loss of human life in the next 3 four years itself all over the world and there's going to be some sort of a new era somewhere from the mid 2030s onwards this is what I've gathered through all my conversations even the ones which haven't made it uh to the internet you know offline what I speak about to people behind the camera >> uh that's what I'm getting towards that I think we were all being preped prepared for this phase.
(35:18) Uh and the third thing I really want to talk about is free will because I've been talking to a lot of Buddhist monks that I meet. I've been talking to uh a lot of the uh sanatani practitioners I meet. I've kind of come to realize that free will is not more than 20 to 30% of your human experience. like that.
(35:39) No matter how much effort you put in, no matter how much integrity you have on some level, your karmmas and the situation of the world will affect where your life goes and what happens. So my question to you sir is that don't you think that even these crazy leaders we have globally? >> Okay. Uh isn't that also perhaps predecided by the supreme? And if that's the case, then why are we why are we even like talking about what they should improve? Because they'll do what they have to.
(36:09) >> Let me tell you this. From nowhere, no time in history has there been no violence. >> Yeah. >> There has always been violence. We are talking about the Iran US. >> Yeah. >> Talk about the Kuruchetra. How many thousands of Krishna was there as God then as an avatar? How many billions of people died? There were only 10 left after the Kurushetra battle.
(36:36) So it's not new. >> Don't think that this is a culmination of something. It is the violence and war has always been there whenever there is a power struggle. And the power struggle has been going on forever. >> And [snorts] the power struggle begins when we begin to understand, begin to think or imagine that everything is in our hands. We can do things.
(37:00) Moment you surrender to the supreme and saying that these are all faces up and down everything in this world moves. Look creation happens then what happens? Small pras take place then maha praa comes everything is destroyed. So destroying and creating are like together. They're not two different things. >> Whatever is created is to be destroyed.
(37:26) So this will happen. So however the saving grace is that supreme reality who is under command and control of all this also sits in our hearts and therefore we have this quality called compassion and concern for others. It's because of that, not even because of ourselves. [laughter] And with that compassion and concern for all that is happening, we want to do something about it.
(38:02) Such people have existed since the beginning of time, not only now. On the other hand, there are others who think that destiny is under their control and they will do what they want. They are the ones who utterly fail in the end. In the beginning, it would look like they succeeded. So when I say if I say that everything is controlled by destiny that doesn't mean I don't have to do anything whatever I do is also controlled by even if I say I don't want to do it will be done >> you get what I'm so like earthquakes do we have any control
(38:44) destiny rain really do we have any floods. Yeah, some are man-made but generally trees which are growing, deserts [snorts] which are happening where there is no trees not in our hands. We can call all that destiny. So where does my thought or my independent behavior and my action start? When I begin to realize that the mind can be changed physically we cannot do anything. The mind can be changed.
(39:15) If the mind changes, it will reflect in the world that you live. >> Even on an individual level, >> even it is individual. See, when you say world, what is this world? A collection of individuals. What else is the world? Not the buildings. So the change has to start happening individually in my heart. If this happens, then everything else will change.
(39:44) Now if somebody is in power political or otherwise sometimes political sometimes monarchies if somebody is in power if their hearts change so much good can be done. >> Now for that they should see clearly that they have been taken over by pride. If I say that I am I know everything then how does one work in India? It is very sad if people think that way because we have been taught from the very beginning.
(40:18) Look there is a supreme reality which is under controlling all affairs. Surrender to that supreme being. Do as much good as you can. If I say it happens. Look, pride is the beginning of fall. The ancient Bible there is a story of a king called Nimrod who built a tower so tall that he thought from the terrace if we can shoot an arrow it will hit God's foot too.
(40:49) Story. Okay. So he built it. Then he shot an arrow from the terrace. Soon as the arrow went up and hit the foot stool, huge commotion happened. You know what happened? It's called cacophony. Which means till then all the beings who were working there to bring up the tower, they were speaking only one language, the mind language.
(41:17) Soon as this happened, each started speaking in their own language. So they each could not understand what the other was saying and there was utter chaos and destruction. The tower fell down and nimro also got buried. Where is the root cause of this? His pride that he can hit even the foottool of God. Humility is essential for existence.
(41:42) >> Let's focus on that 30%ish that we are responsible for. Okay, this is what I've gathered from all these conversations. Let's highlight Virat Kohli. >> Okay. >> Now, if you're a cricket fan, you know that he started working hard from his teenage and his hard work has got him to where he is because there was very low expectation.
(42:03) Not very low, but there was lowish expectation on him when he was young. >> He exceeded all that expectation. >> He obviously worked hard. >> From everything that you said, >> you're also saying that even that capacity to work hard has been given by the divine. >> Yes. So there was no >> also without that blessing he couldn't have succeeded even if there are many people who must have worked very hard how did he succeed >> why did he succeed >> why did he succeed because there is some grace for some reason we don't know we cannot explain the grace
(42:34) >> there is some grace otherwise he would not succeed there are many people who worked very hard at the same time and nothing happened to them >> yeah yeah >> what about I'm not saying he didn't work hard okay mind you he must have worked very very very hard and he has the capacity to do that that where does that capacity come from >> there are 10 such people but one is rising >> yeah yeah yeah >> I think it is grace I met a very old Cindi gentleman who had the uh complete uh franchise for all the holidays in East Asia West Asia in Hong Kong I met
(43:15) him and then he was already 90 years old but he came with me for lunch in his own hotel one of the holidays. So I asked him how did you come up like he said I have to tell you this when we first came to Hong Kong he's a Cindi guy when you first came to Hong Kong many of us came there were 10 people like me basically I'm a tailor 10 people like me who set up shops and the thing was ordering the westerners were there Americans were there British were there order your suit in the morning and you get delivery in the
(43:54) evening. This was the process. So they made a lot of money. He said there were nine other people with me. You all worked hard. You all in some way succeeded but they all were gone. I'm the only fellow who has come to this level. And he told me something. Sir, life is a game of snake and ladder. >> Sometimes you are down, sometimes you are. God has kept me here.
(44:23) He was willing to acknowledge >> at age 90. >> At age 90. >> Yeah. I kind of think that as one ages, you just come to that realization that you're not in control. >> Exactly. >> Yet you have to keep your intentions clean and try working hard. >> Absolutely not. You are not. You're very young. I'm not talking. Look at me.
(44:42) I'm now 78 years age. From the beginning I had this thought that without grace nothing will happen. >> It has kept me in good state. When I'm in real dire straits financially or otherwise I think there is a saving grace somewhere it will happen. And not that I don't do anything about it. >> Yeah. >> And I have always found that it happens.
(45:07) The abundance comes not because of us. We do but what comes comes from above. So even when one is going through these bad phases, what happens at the end of that bad phase to just lift the gate open. First you have to say okay I'm going through a bad phase. Accept it. You don't have to publicly proclaim. I accept it.
(45:32) Then I say I have done whatever I have to do. Now I leave it to God. And really with feeling when nobody's around cry to that God. There's no harm in crying. People who don't cry have don't have a heart. Believe me from the dark skies there will be a streak of light coming. I'm not physically I'm not saying visually and you'll see how things improve.
(45:59) I am totally I believe in that. >> Yeah, >> I totally believe in that. I've also gone through so many phases. It may not be to do with you but you have a child who is suffering. You have you know all these things happen but then you see that you have no way out that what do you do for me though I fix my mind in my heart where I think array of that supreme being in everybody you have to recognize it and say help me no harm in asking for help if you don't pray to God who will you pray to tell me that way I like this beautiful little prayer in the
(46:34) Bible it's called the Lord's prayer it's Beautiful. It simply says, "Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." It's give us this day our daily bread. Why? Because there are thousands of people who struggle for their daily bread. >> I get my masala dosa, but there are thousands.
(47:03) >> Forgive our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not unto temptation but deliver us. I mean it's such a simple prayer. It's not complicated. Do you think God knows only Sanskrit or Arabic or something? Your heart is more important. >> Yeah. The earth seems like one big karmic shower for all these beings that occupy it.
(47:26) And that's why I want to get out of the shower at some point. >> Ask for help. Ask for grace. You will see how smoothly you're lifted out and put somewhere. What's the immediate next world that we go to >> after death? Now this is very this is a question that Nachiket has asked the lord of death yama and he himself could not provide the answer.
(47:51) So I don't know what I can tell you in cat understanding my understanding is we leave this world and we go to another realm physical body is gone of course buried or burn whatever and there there is nothing to be fearful or lose hope this what I have understood and learned from various sources there are beings who are there to help us who are there to take us to correct what we have not done correctly there are beings who will help Because we might have to go through a certain degree of suffering to free our mind from all the wrongdoings. Not
(48:28) as if somebody's putting in fire and burning. It's a state of mind basically. And then when you come out from that, you see that you are actually part of the race of that supreme being and then you enjoy. But those people who do good, who meditate, who connect, who have no pride, who are humble, who do good to others, right? Share what you have with others.
(48:55) Not simply only counting the money which is in the treasury. Such people as soon as they die, they go to that world of happiness. >> But then they come back. >> If they really enjoyed, they need not come back. Nobody will push them out or force them to come back. they can decide I want to come back and do good and come back.
(49:19) >> This is what enlightenment is. >> Enlightenment it is to understand the fact that your deeds in this world are very important and what deeds you perform the result you will enjoy or suffer. And if you have understood this that you are linked in some way directly with the supreme then you are free. You don't nobody can push you force you to come back.
(49:49) So nothing you a free flying bird. >> Why do you think all our souls on this earth chose to come back after dying in our last birth? >> I have no idea. Some desire must have been left to fulfill. Well, why would we come and suffer? >> Yeah, >> some desire was left to be fulfilled. We are back trying to solve that desire. During that process, we should understand this is why we have come.
(50:16) So, let us be free. >> H what are you thinking about your this next chapter of your life next 15 20 years? >> I don't even know if I last for 15 20 years. I'm already 78 years old. >> So your 80s ' 90s what are you thinking about? >> I'm trying I have formed a structure called the satsang foundation. It has become big. We have hospitals.
(50:43) We have free schools. I want to wind up I'm I'm not wind up the system. Somebody else has to take over and I want to get out of all this and stay in solitude. Few people who come to see me, I will talk to them and try to make them understand that what actually is is the heart and it is the heart of the matter. >> This is what I want to do.
(51:07) I want but I still have some little bit of responsibilities to the family. Moment I sort it out, I hope I can do it before I die. I will sit down quietly unknown. I want to go to a place where when I walk out, nobody knows me. [snorts] Nobody tries to fall at my feet. Nobody knows me. I want to stay alone. And you'll be in India.
(51:35) >> I don't know. >> Wow. >> I really don't know. >> Like [clears throat] you told me outside that you're planning a Mount Kalash visit. >> Yeah. Now >> why now? >> Because after this I won't be able to go physically. >> Okay. Okay, I already been to Kailash. I've done a paricramma. Lots of people were behind me saying now when will you go to Kailash? You went that time lucky people came with you.
(52:00) So I said okay let's have another trip now because afterwards after 2 years I may not be able to. You have to accept this you know physically that when your body when you grow older the cells become weak all these things happen. However much ka you do and try to revive. Yeah, to some extent but like a car spare parts are possible, repair is possible and eventually you have to abandon it and buy a new one, right? So this is where I'm going now.
(52:32) >> In the last 10 years, I think you've appeared in front of the world >> like your whole life has been presented through books, podcasts, etc. >> and also through the organization. Why did I do it? because I wanted to spread whatever I knew and make people understand it. That's all. The rest hospital, schools, colleges, they came incidentally because one of the principles I teach people is that you have to contribute to society in some way >> if you have the means.
(53:03) So those people who are sympathetic to that kind of thought, they joined in and built the whole structure up. Now for me I want to get out of it. I don't want to demolish it because so many people get we have a big state-of-the-art hospital in Madnapali where I my main center [snorts] free treatment to everybody including beautiful state-of-the-art operation theaters and everything.
(53:30) So I don't want to demolish it because it is doing good for so many people but I want to get out of the public face. I don't think I will go again for any s podcast and interview. I I want to >> You think this is your last podcast? >> Well, s the satssung foundation has a website so I might be talking sometime but public I want to avoid.
(53:56) [snorts] >> I'm also toying with stopping the podcast but I had to see you on the seat once >> because you've been a very very instrumental part of growing this show even though you've only appeared twice. twice. Yeah. >> There've been people who appear >> third time. No. >> Yes. >> There have been people who appeared 15 to 20 times and they've also been a huge part of it, >> you know.
(54:17) But I have these certain faces in my head who I just had to meet >> once before shutting down the show. >> I have an advice uh not advice suggestion. >> Yes sir. Uh for a time for a short period go into solitude go into some quiet place and be free. And then the knowledge what you learned during that period you can restart the podcast and let others know what you thought what happened >> because it's useful.
(54:50) Podcast are not because it is becoming a big thing for you or any podcast basically is to convey what you know to the public at large. That's not a bad thing. >> Yeah. The thing is the thought of stopping the podcast has been there since 2022 you know because stopping it creates room to create something new. >> True. So create that room.
(55:13) Stop it for a while. I'm not saying all what I'm saying is since you know what to do the whole thing once you have something in your mind go out and let it come out in the podcast. Why? Don't permanently you don't have to close it down. >> Make return to give it a little bit of rest. >> Yeah. >> With the time you can even announce look I'm taking rest.
(55:33) I'm going into solitude. >> Yeah. >> I want to find myself. I'll come back to you. [snorts] >> How long should the solitude [laughter] be? Okay. >> It's up to you. >> Perhaps after my hair is a little gray, I'll bring it back. >> Not really. [laughter] That's stretching it too long because it may not become gray so easy. >> Are the nagas still on earth? >> I think so.
(56:02) There are not only naga, there are all other beings around this earth. There are beings not only human beings. There are beings who live in the fire. There are beings who live in the wind. There are many kinds of beings on that we cannot see them. Doesn't mean they don't exist. >> Many of them are positive. >> Most of them are positive.
(56:24) But like human beings, there are negative ones also. >> Even amongst the positives, >> of course. because they have their own personalities etc. >> There is a concept for instance in the Islamic literature of a gin. >> Yes. >> Now a jin is supposed to be not a human being. They will never become human being. They're a separate species.
(56:44) Let's say this is how it is given. Now these gin are supposed to have been made from fire. Smokeless fire. I don't know what it means. Okay. Now they have their own personality. Some are good. Some pray, some meditate, some do good things. But among them also like human beings, there are the worst ones who create problems for others.
(57:07) Go and whisper to somebody in the ear and things like that. Now if fire can have such beings, air, water, they all must be having some intelligent beings out there. We like to think that we are the only >> I don't know where this nagas angla has entered my head from but I wish to speak a little bit more about it.
(57:35) Is there any way we can get in communion with nagas or is that even a >> may I ask there is no point in getting in touch with the nagas. I never got in touch with some nagas got in touch with me. >> Yeah >> it was not my intention at all. So instead of that we should try to explore our own mind and and when you are mature enough naga all things will come to you.
(57:58) Don't go specifically towards that. >> You you've answered the question. >> It's not a good idea. >> It's not a good idea >> to seek beings. No >> you don't know what kind of beings you're attracting >> exactly and they are powerful. So you don't fall into the traps. M >> you know if someone asks me about what Shariam's story was first I tell them read his books >> but the second thing I tell them is when he was very young I believe when he was a child um his guru from his last birth met him in his >> childhood home
(58:28) >> because that's the story that stayed with me >> correct >> uh that was not Baba Gi right it was Baba's disciple only >> it was Baba >> I call him Babai my father >> not Mahava No, no, >> that's a different >> uh so this Babai G is the same one who now is not in touch with you. >> Yes. >> When I say not in touch means not like coming every day or coming in dreams or talking not nothing like that but deep down in my heart there is a link.
(59:01) I don't trouble him with my problems or ask questions or anything of the time. But the presence is there. When I sit alone looking out of the window and see the moon rising out from the clouds, I always think of him that way. Yes, the presence is there >> and I feel my mind and body have become shant then I know this is Babai's blessings and his presence.
(59:30) Believe me, I spent so many years with him. Not once he allowed me to do pronounce to him. He said the only being worthy of pronounce is to supreme. [snorts] Unfortunately, our people are not understanding. So guru, I said this is the last pronounce. I'm going to stop this. Nobody will listen. I'm the victim of my own.
(59:59) [laughter] H >> because you're the you know source through which the knowledge flows. >> All right. But we can show your affection. We don't have to. >> How does someone like myself and I also speak for people younger than me who in their 20s? How do we now chalk out our coming decades or do we just chalk out one year at a time with a larger intention to meditate etc.
(1:00:26) >> Keep short periods of time. Don't look at it long because we don't know how situations change various things can change geographically, politically which all affect us, right? So think of one year let's say keep how will I live this year >> causing as less injury to other living beings as possible as possible.
(1:00:50) Mind you, we are limited human beings. We cannot say absolutely I will do this. Yeah. And how long how much time will I spend in remembrance of the supreme being in my heart? How long will I connect with the spiritual and how much will I do on this earth? And what can I do? What good can I do to people who are less uh what shall we call privileged than me? So keep it for an year and see how it goes.
(1:01:24) then you can expand on it next year. Don't think of millenniums at the moment. In fact, when you think of even one one year, I think you should think of one month and one day because everything starts with one minute will becomes one day and then stretches on to a month then two years. So this one month and one year if you can stabilize that stability will stretch for you for years.
(1:01:50) Is there any way to increase my energy levels as my physical body ages? >> You should eat right food. Do exercise. Do your If you know ka, practice ka. It supplies a lot of energy to the and don't forget to bow down regularly to the supreme being whether you see him or you don't see. >> Ask for help.
(1:02:17) There is no better energy than that comes from there from that source. >> I'm just asking my own questions here sir. Um destiny first put me into this path of ka and it took me to a certain degree >> and I almost feel like you know that like the >> fruit just falls off. >> I went into this path of mantras >> through life situations etc and I enjoy it.
(1:02:43) >> Right. Continue with it. That's what I'm asking you. >> But there is no better mantra on this earth than the guy tree. So do spend at least a few minutes chanting the guy. You don't have to do the entire sa and the complicated thing. But you know the gaitri mantra is so simple and so effective. >> Yeah. >> What is the gatri? It simply says oh which means it applies to the bula and loa it's not sa short form for okay and it also applies to waking state dream state and deep sleep according to psychology of the opanish called the
(1:03:27) manduka heaven or sa is deep sleepukti and then there is shapna and there is waking state. So this mantra why they have stated it it applies to all the three states. Then what is the next I bow down to that controller of the universe. [snorts] I bow down to this controller of this universe. What is the next sentence? Is meditate means that divine being who
(1:04:13) I meditate upon. And what is the uh request? May my understanding be illumined and stimulate and awakened. What more do we need? Is there anything I need to do to enhance my body's ability to absorb the mantra? >> Try to eat follow food rules. Keep simple food. Do not indulge in alcohol and any other substance which can alter your mind states.
(1:04:56) Keep off from all this and try to get up early mornings when the world is still not become active and do your mantras. >> Got >> with the understanding that even you don't see but the supreme being has thousands of eyes it sees everything. M h m so two people who are doing mantras sad one of them has a slightly naughty life >> you know where they are indulging food can also >> that is called the left-handed path I am very concerned about it I would rather go on the right hand path >> simpler >> simpler samayara it's called >> but also practically speaking it's
(1:05:39) difficult for a lot of young people difficult but Then people think oh we'll go from here and then shift to they never shift they'll stay there >> and then what happens if they stay there the whole life but they've practiced >> nothing happens they imagine that something is happening there >> it's easier to transform yourself through this path >> but then isn't this also preddered by the supreme >> well everything that we think even what I'm telling you is predecided by the supreme so we have to look when food is
(1:06:11) given to us. Do we say, "Oh, it is predecided. I will not eat until you eat because you are hungry. >> Hunger is predecided." >> Why are we here today, sir? >> I came because I haven't seen you for a long time. And I appreciate your podcast and the questions you ask which seem to me sometimes quite innocent questions in a way.
(1:06:41) And second because I thought I will put some energy into you through my not not like trying any technique but so that you kind of rise up from the difficulties that uh may be coming from here and there and float properly and maybe go onto a more constructive phase. >> Yeah, >> that's one of the reasons why I came. I didn't have any other agenda.
(1:07:03) >> No, thank you sir. >> Why did the difficulties come in the first place? Because one without difficulty one cannot purify oneself. >> The difficulties are the things that lead you towards purification and higher evolution. >> Back when we had met those previous two times uh did you have a feeling that these difficulties will come? I don't usually try and discuss this but I thought maybe somewhere along the line but it is a good thing you know any difficulty any suffering anything that happens it's actually you shouldn't
(1:07:42) think oh what it's a good face it's a blessing you learn you change and you move forward so it's a a good thing >> yeah um in my world know there's a term called purple patch which means a very good face. Now when I look at the very good face when I met you for the first two times, I realize how much of it was not in my control.
(1:08:03) >> Exactly. So you see now why do you see? Because of certain experiences in life. So good or bad experiences that come always thank God. Thank you. Don't get angry and say but you know I really want that good phase again. It's there. It's there in many ways. your heart is good. Everything will fall into place.
(1:08:28) I'm telling you. >> So, one take one month at a time. One day at a time, >> one day at a time. >> I'm sure because your intentions are clear and pure, you'll move forward. >> You don't have to worry. >> Yeah, this is also the point. >> I also pray that something good happens to you. >> Thank you, sir. >> I know you're good already, but something better.
(1:08:48) >> Thank you. Thank you, sir. definitely feel a little lost but I think sometimes the divine does all this through me because I have this little amount of fame and there's many people who are feeling lost and hurt on a smaller level and they see this other person on their phone screens who's also going through some rubbish >> you know fame is a blessing >> that comes from God don't discard it ever let it be in its place but that should not build pride in us that's all that needs to be done >> yeah yeah That's what the bhagavat one
(1:09:20) of the message wherever you see power wherever you see fame wherever you see energy it's actually an ama of the supreme array of the supreme so where it is due you need to give respect >> and just flow because none of this is your doing >> really flow it's beautiful believe me today I I came here. I'm not even thinking that I came here.
(1:09:52) It's part of the flow that has taken place. I know it's not easy to think that way. But it is so I have some years ago surrendered totally. Even ka the definition of ka the word ka appears for the this is the last time I'm going to tell you appears in the yoga sutras of Patanjali for the first time in words. Where does it appear in the first sentence? Yoga.
(1:10:33) What is gria yoga? Tapasa which means fighting against reverses and negatives. This is tapasa. Not standing on your head [laughter] to suadhayas. Sadhya means self-study [snorts] and also studying your own self. How do I react? What am I? Then iswara surrendering to the ishwara because there are certain things which are not in our hands that we have to acknowledge and surrender.
(1:11:04) If all these three things come together, it is defined according to patanjali not the guy who makes medicines as kria yoga. First time ka actually appears in the ancient text is in the yoga sutras. What's a book you'd point me towards or other people towards for tough phases. It could be anything. It could be an upishad.
(1:11:33) It could be one of your books that you've written. >> I think you should read some of the works of Swami Viveananda. Okay. are there it's absolutely clear what things are very very clear and it is meant for people who are also intellect whose intellect is good so I think they start with a small uh first volume of Swami Viveananda's complete works >> okay got it >> the youngsters in this country really need the teachings of this great And I showed you something when I came.
(1:12:17) >> Yeah. Do you want to talk about it? Well, I in the situation that we have sometimes politically there is this thing about opposing other religions and keeping them away you know and so on considering them as so in that context I was showing you from the complete works of Swami Viveananda there is one section called letters of Swami Viveana personal letters I showed you on the phone his own writing which is volume everything I is there do you want me to read it for you >> yes sir >> now this should go to the young
(1:12:58) >> yes >> this is written by Swami Viveananda who is used as a icon by many political parties today not many you know what I mean okay and there is this hatred you know godra and all that happened anyway let's forget it here is swami viveananda who is used as an icon But Swami G said we have to follow Swami G here.
(1:13:25) This is from the six letters of Swami Veanandha complete works second series chronology letter written the original is also here >> you can see that >> hello pages >> we'll put it up on the screen as you speak. >> Yeah. So this is the one. >> Yes. >> Now here is what Swami G wrote. [snorts] He had a dear friend who was a doctor. I think he was a doctor in Almora.
(1:13:53) 10th June 1898, Swami wrote a letter to him and he said, "My dear friend, I appreciate your letter very much and I'm extremely happy to learn that the Lord is silently preparing wonderful things for our motherland." I wonder what you would have said now. Whether we call it vantism or any ism the truth is that adism there is only one supreme this is adwita is the last word of religion and thought and the only position from which one can look upon all religions and sex with love sex ects
(1:14:41) I believe it is the religion of the future enlightened humanity. The Hindus may get the credit of arriving at it earlier than other races. They being an older race than either the Hebrew or the Arab. Yet practical adoatism which looks upon and behaves to all mankind as one's own soul was never developed among the Hindus universally.
(1:15:10) Swami G. No. On the other hand, my experience is that if ever any religion approach to this equality in an appreciatable manner, sorry, appreciable manner, it is Islam and Islam alone. Nobody will imagine that in the present context of what is being presented as Swami Vivean. Therefore, I am firmly persuaded that without the help of practical Islam, theories of vantism, however fine and wonderful they may be, are [snorts] entirely valless to the vast mass of mankind.
(1:15:52) We want to lead mankind to the place where there is neither the Vedas nor the Bible nor the Quran. Yet, this has to be done by harmonizing the Vedas, the Bible and the Quran. Mankind ought to be taught that religions are but the varied expressions of the religion in capital letters which is oneness so that each may choose that path that suits it best.
(1:16:20) My own motherland a junction of the two great systems Hinduism and Islam the vantic brain and the Islamic body is the only hope. I see in my mind's eye the future perfect India arising out of this cows and strike glorious and invincible with a vantic brain and an Islamic body ever praying that the Lord may make of you a great instrument for the help of mankind and especially of our own poor poor motherland.
(1:17:00) views with love. Swami G returned to Sarraasu saying in Almora. Wow. >> You see and so in the Ramakrishna mission many people think that what Swami G predicted was me but that [laughter] is not true. He is talking about the general principles. >> Yeah. Important messaging to be put out. We are in an era where even if you say something secular on the internet, you are criticized.
(1:17:27) >> Exactly. But isn't that just humanity saying something secular? >> Absolutely. Absolutely. It's gone away. But okay, you can do that. But don't use Swami G as an icon. Then take him out. >> This is what I'm saying. >> Yeah. Uh I have hopes from young people in our country. >> I do. I actually do.
(1:17:52) I'm I'm the way they act and the action may be a little immature in some ways but I have hope only on the young. >> Yeah. I mean >> we have failed. >> All of us were immature in our early 20s you know. So >> I know >> like it's just that's part of >> and the youth. >> Yeah. Human journey >> energy but they are the only hope. >> Yeah.
(1:18:14) What what I see is a lot lesser hatred in them as compared to even some people my age. >> Absolutely. And then also I see much less hatred in people my age than people older, you know, 50s born, 60s born. There's just so much more like uh religious tension. >> We don't feel it as much. I don't think they feel it at all. >> No, not the younger generation.
(1:18:34) >> And you can't build up a structure on hatred. I mean >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Where will it land? >> And with that sir, uh I think this is the end of this episode. >> Thank you very much. Just sometimes you feel the need to stop the episode at some point. >> I will have a tiny conversation with you behind the scenes also because I have been wishing so much to just see you >> come to Madanali sometime.
(1:19:00) >> Yes. Yes. >> And spend some time quietly. >> Yeah. There was you know phase in my life where I met you the last two times where I felt that the divine was meeting me through people like yourself. Then there's a phase where I feel like everything deserted me. Now I feel >> nothing is deserting. Yeah, I think an anxious or beaten up mind starts playing tricks on itself.
(1:19:22) >> I know that's all. >> Yeah. >> So surrender is of prrenid. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> And leave everything there and see. >> I am free. You take care. >> Yes. >> Uh I'm going to watch and rewatch this episode a lot. >> Like trust me from every corner of my heart. I wish just for this episode. >> So thank you.
(1:19:46) uh I don't know exactly how we've contributed through this one >> but over to you sir in case you want to give away any last notes >> I only want to say that listen carefully to what the discussion we had and they're saying this to the audience who's going to see the podcast tomorrow listen carefully to both the questions and the answers and then find out for yourself what is it all about that's all I have to Have a nonp prejuditial mind.
(1:20:16) Look at it. >> Try looking through Maya. >> Yeah. >> And understanding the rules of it. >> Exactly. >> So that then you come to the core of what happened. >> Yeah. Yeah. Uh thank you sir. >> Thank you. >> Just big honor always spending time with him. That's what I want to say. >> Thank you very much. >> We normally do a warm-up protocol.
(1:20:37) Uh we put an intention behind the piece. Mhm. >> So, uh I actually am very very blank right now about intention because I've wanted to do this piece in a very intense way now for the last 3 4 years >> especially last one year. >> I have like constantly been like thinking about this piece and all. >> So I don't know what we are supposed to output today.
(1:20:57) Uh >> you can as you like. >> Is there any intention you want to put? What I would like to stress is that somewhere along the line we have shifted culturally and politically and even spiritually from the essence of vedas to things which may be relevant but in general are not so relevant. random topics >> random like we are basically now basing when you say I'm a Hindu I base my entire thing on the puranic starting from the avataras and so on nobody goes back to the origin which is
(1:21:44) actually called the shrine >> right >> which is upishad and the vedasadish are only part of the vedas now most effective mantra like gitri comes from the rigida and the rishi was vishwa >> got it >> who was a shatria actually not >> king >> of of yeah yeah king of a >> brahmana >> so it took long time people even to accept him as a brahmana which I think wasa finally did he is the father of or rather the originator rishi of the gayatri mantra.
(1:22:28) So this guy three mantra is so simple. People come to me and oh we want Shida, we want this mantra. I asked them when you were young especially some people who are from that background. Nobody told you any mantra in your when you yes so why are you asking me for a mantra? You know it's a fashion to say oh I am now chanting I am now with Kalabra.
(1:22:54) It's all nonsense actually. There's nothing. >> So I say why don't you chant the guy? It's such a profound mantra not only the meaning with the effect of it. So what I mean is we need to go danuti tried that with but he he didn't win much he failed. But the younger generation have the potential to go into it. >> Got it? because they're looking at that something real and not some stories and fables and I'm sad because I was also one of the VIP invite sitting in front what is left you tell me
(1:23:44) to why this is happening is because we are hanging on to things which are not so important because they're easier to practice and more convenient living out the essence of Satya Satya although it's written in all offices but you know this is one thing and one has to go back to the >> remind people of the basics again >> it's the origin >> essence >> of the Hindu ethosamra there is one truth people may call it by different names You see this? So that also I would like to then in the I'm just saying it's up to you.
(1:24:28) >> Um the last I would also like how to address the youngster. Why are they agitated? Because they see people attaching more importance to unimportant things and not going to the essence. they go to the essence they will find what a wonderful culture there was and how things can be done and so on.
(1:24:52) So it is not too much of exposure to the scripture that is creating the problem. The ignorance of the scriptures and so for that Sanskrit is very important. >> I mean these are some of the things Heat. Heat. [music] >> [music]
