ఈ “Free The Nipple” ఉద్యమం గురించి అచార్య ప్రశాంత్ ఇచ్చిన స్పందనను తెలుగు లో సరళంగా, ముఖ్యాంశాలు గుర్తించి అర్థం చేసుకునేలా ఇక్కడ వివరిస్తున్నాము.

### 1. నిపుల్ ను బహిరంగంగా చూపించడం సిద్ధాంతపరంగా సరేనా?
అచార్య ప్రశాంత్ ప్రకారం, సైద్ధాంతికంగా చూస్తే స్త్రీలు టాప్లెస్ గా ఉండవచ్చు; నిపుల్ కు ప్రత్యేకంగా ఒక రహస్య లేదా అశ్లీలత లేదు. అన్ని పాల జీవులకీ ఉన్న సహజమైన భాగం అది. అందుకే నిపుల్ ‘ఎంతో ప్రత్యేకం’ అని బహిరంగంగా దాచొద్దని సిద్ధాంతంగా అంగీకరిస్తున్నాడు.

### 2. కానీ నగ్నత వలన స్త్రీ నిజంగా “స్వేచ్ఛ” పొందగలదా?

### 6. సమాజం ఎంత “రిగ్రెసివ్” (పురాతన) గా ఉందో ఎలా తెలుసు?

(00:24) Ideologies never go deep enough. The nipple will be free, the woman will be not. I had one last follow-up. Um, what do you think of the free the nipple movement that started in 2012 to get women to go shirtless in public because there's a social norm around like men can be shirtless, but women can't be, and women said that why are their breasts sexualized? You know, men can go wherever they want, but why can't women be shirtless? What do you think of that answer? >> You gain the same thing.
(00:59) It's not the action that counts, but the actor. Right? Yes, technically, academically, theoretically, yes, definitely. Women can go shirtless and there is nothing so special or exquisite about the nipple that it has to be hidden. Nothing. All mammals have it. Half the world's In fact, 100% of the world population has it. >> [laughter] >> Nothing so unique about it that And there is nothing so perverse about it.
(01:39) But then when men go shirtless, they don't mind it if you hit their chest. And men keep doing it all the time. (02:15) You are shirtless. You are out there and you are welcome. Come on, join the club. But then you can't do that as a woman. Men shake hands. So do women, right? And we don't distinguish, do we? A hand reaches out and you just take the hand. Right? A basic And then you don't say it's a woman's hand, so I have to hold it differently.
(02:53) I don't do that. Similarly, hugs. Men come up to you and they hug you. Men women come up to you and they hug you. When I'm in crowds, that's happening all the time. One doesn't notice. One doesn't differentiate. That's fine. And women have all the right to go shirtless, topless, braless. Fine, wonderful. But if the whole thing is happening from a point of womanness, the consequences would be of the traditional kind.
(03:34) You would be shirtless and you will be comparing your size with the next woman. Because now comparison is even easier. You would be more particular about who's staring at your chest. What you require, first of all is freedom from the body before freedom from the bra. And when you have freedom from the body, then clothes become irrelevant.
(04:06) You can wear this, you may not wear it. You can decide just in your freedom to wear seven pieces of clothing one day. One Another day you can decide to go out naked. Fine. All of that has to come from a certain point of freedom within, not as an ideology. Ideologies never go deep enough. The nipple will be free, the woman will be not.
(04:39) Get it? And the poor thing will be asking, "What have I done? I never clamored for liberation." Instead of liberating her insides, she is liberating some part of the body. In the history of world, there have been a lot of women who have gone almost nude in public. And even men have honored them. On the contrary, there are those who display their bodies just for the sake
(05:23) of male attention. They may put it whatever way they like. They may keep saying, "It's my life and I feel more confident or comfortable." But deep within they know they are doing it for the sake of men, even if unconsciously. Or they are doing it for the sake of women. Women who carry the man's gaze inside them.
(05:44) So indirectly, they are still doing it the men. It's not about the nipple becoming visible. It is about the nipple becoming irrelevant because it is a very normal thing. There is nothing special there. The buffalo has it. The cow has it. The pig has it. There is nothing so amazing there that it will enlighten you and transform you and awaken you and turn your life blissful.
(06:29) All women carry them. What did it give them? So, what can it give to men then? In a healthy society, when the mind is not traditionally seized, all these things will not even be matter of good discussion. This will be taken as just trivia, not worth discussing. This is the nose. Does a female nose arouse you?
(07:16) Oh. I just saw a female nose. Same thing. Much the same thing. And also, in the past, there have been societies in which women actually remained topless. And that was common sight for the men. Men didn't find that not not not obscene and not even exciting. Even in India, first of all, look at the tribal societies.
(07:51) A lot of tribal societies, the women were wearing close to nothing. And even in the mainstream society, India was a hot and humid place. Women were not really wearing much. And that was considered not obscene, not improper, just normal. You can actually measure, physically measure, the regressiveness of a society by the average length of the women's
(08:38) dresses. Hm? Inversely proportional. The more a woman is supposed to wear in a society, the more backward, regressive the society is likely to be. And that in no way means that by dropping clothes, the woman becomes liberated. Please don't come to that conclusion. No. The society and the women are liberated when clothes remain no big deal.
(09:24) When clothes remain no big deal. She can come to me formally dressed, and she can come to me wearing something very skimpy. I don't even notice. Because I'm talking to her consciousness, not to her thighs. That's what you call liberation. From both sides, the man and the woman. One side used to say women should wear a lot.
(10:02) The other side is saying women should wear nothing at all. As if the whole thing is about clothes. As if bondage lies in clothes. Bondage does not lie in clothes, it lies in consciousness, here, here. And when you are free here, then you can wear a lot, you are free to wear a lot, or you can wear almost nothing.
(10:33) Or nothing at all. It's all right, fine. But just dropping clothes won't render you free. I mean, by roaming naked inside a jail, do you become free? Imagine a captive. Imagine a prisoner who has dropped all the clothes inside the jail and is now running about totally naked. So, is this nudity freedom? The walls still exist.
