(00:00) What would you say is kundalini and how can one activate it? Kundalini is a fourth energy which is the most special. Kundalini is seen as a snake and here the yogis have seen them as a red color small tiny snake and not fully grown and it is coiled around three and a half times.
(00:19) It is generally believed that those people who have done sad on kundalini sad there's a smoky color shivering on that yellow square at muladar which is sitting horizontal. Some of the techniques through which I can awaken my kundalini. There are number of things. First of all, awakening your nadis. When there's a balance between ida and pingla, then malik sushi active and kalini can flow through susha.
(00:44) When kalini awaken, you will know what I'm thinking. You can get into people. The final energies can mal flow through sushla. They cannot flow through and pingla nani. Ida is more of subtle body. Pingla is more of cross body. What is aura? Aura is immunity. It protect retains our energy within us and protects us from outside energies.
(01:05) The more you use your mind, the more your aura gets distorted. What are the colors of the aura? Because I've heard that the auras can range from pitch black to white. Yes. People who are tamasic will have brown, burgundy, black. Rajasik is red. Satwa is white and very soothing yellow.
(01:23) Normally there are cracks on the aura. A person is totally fragmented, imbalanced. [Music] Swami Gi Kapri a revered teacher of authentic Raj and Tantra Yoga is the founder of Pushkar Meditation Temple in Rajasthan, a sanctuary for seekers from around the world. Having spent decades studying, teaching and living the wisdom of Patanjali's path, Swami G chose to return to the roots of yogi tradition, offering deeply immersive teachers training and spiritual mentoring rooted in ancient Indian practices.
(01:57) Born in the Himalayan region of Utrahand and educated at Bombay University, Swami Gi has dedicated his life to restoring the spiritual and meditative heart of yoga far beyond the physical postures. What is a technique through which I can purify my aura? Standing home, you chant it nine times. It restores it completely. Okay.
(02:18) For next 24 hours at least you are protected. There's a particular asa called masakratasan or lapping fish pose where you sleep on the left side without a pillow. Left leg is straight right leg is folded. Now that is the ideal sleeping position for the night. If you start sleeping in that position you get 8 hours sleep in 4 hours literally the small kids they wet their beds.
(02:40) Put them on the left side they will never wet the bed. Okay. What are chakras? Chakras are basically the psychic points where this and pingala intersect. Each represent one organ of action. Pula represents anus. Swadi genital. Manipur represents eye. Then anah represents hand. Vishudi represents mouth speech.
(03:02) If meditation happens, you can get absorbed in that object of meditation. If you're changing Ganesh mantra, you can become Ganesha the object of meditation and you become one. That is what samati. His transformative retreats in Pushkar and across the globe including Italy, Portugal and the United States of America have cultivated not just yoga teachers but lifelong seekers of inner truth.
(03:24) It is our true honor to have with us on today's special spiritual episode of the body tobe podcast. Swami gi kapri we live at seven levels. There are seven locas you know and human beings are only at the second level. Kundalini helps you to sort of go to that final level. So the lowest is hell. Yes, you can say hell there. [Music] [Laughter] Shanti
(04:09) Shanti Shanti. Namaste Swami G Capri. Namaste. With this podcast I feel like life's coming full circle because uh for those of you who don't know you are in a sense my first spiritual teacher. So Swami G Capri happens to be my mama Gi who is my mother's brother who's had a huge influence in my life.
(04:36) Uh right from my childhood years uh we've been having long spiritual discussions on life and beyond. So right from that point to setting the stage for me turning to spirituality and eventually becoming a yoga teacher. So Mama G, I feel like this podcast is long overdue and the themes that we're going to be discussing today which is the mystical dimensions of spirituality such as condalini, tantra, aura, energy body are often abused, exploited due to faulty understanding and it's very rare to find authentic sources like yourself who can
(05:12) impart this understanding with accuracy. So thank you so much for gracing my podcast finally. I'm so privileged. Shloka. By the way, I I'm responsible for that name also. Absolutely. I prepared that in my speech but I forgot. So Mama G has given me my name Shloka. Okay. See there are symbols in life you know which make you sort of really smile within and you are one such symbol in my life too. Thank you.
(05:41) Thank you for giving this opportunity. Can't wait to delve into the world of mysticism. One of the most researched topics in mysticism and spirituality is that of kundalini. What is kundalini exactly? Because from what I know, if a person's kundalini becomes jagrat or active, then it can transform an individual on the physical, mental and the spiritual plane. Okay.
(06:09) See what differentiates human beings. Okay. As per tantra n there Shiva, shi and n anu that's motherha element all have the same potential but the individual being has limitations. What differentiates that individual being from other species in nature is kundalini. Okay. Okay. So a human is different from an animal because we have kundalini and they do not have kin.
(06:35) The level of even animals also for example the highest chakra in animals is muladhar and that happens with the lowest chakra in human beings and muladhar is considered to be the generation point of kundalini. Okay where kundalini is constantly generated but in absence of any endeavor to channel channel it upwards it just flows with gravity flows out you know flows down.
(06:59) See there are four kind of energies that flow in human beings. Okay. And the three energies flow even in animals also. What are these? First is gross energy which is plasma, blood, nutrients, all that. Okay. Second is panic energy, breath. Okay. Which also is in all the most animals kind. Third is psychic mental energy. Okay.
(07:21) Which is like impulse current. Okay. So now these three kind of energies physical, panic and mental are found in most of the uh species even in animals. The level of development is different. Okay. Even trees for example have that. Even place of asta or place of worship rivers also have that. Okay.
(07:46) But in case of what differentiates human being is this kundalini energy which is being generated on muladar and if you can channel it upwards to your higher chakras higher level of being existence then what will happen that then you are living as a human being. See in the scriptures we talk of three states of consciousness.
(08:09) Bhawas they call it bshuba. What is bashu bha? What if we the person does only four things eats, sleeps, procreates and dies. This is what push does. Now when you look around lot of people do just that. So they are in fact living in like animals you know. Mhm. But one question if person this question comes that am I a pushu an animal? If not what that puts you in a higher bow which is called vira bao warrior state. Okay.
(08:42) And if you keep pursuing that then who am I? Then it will take you to some state to dy divine state. So now taking example of kalin energy. Now this app applies to every kind of spirituality. What is spirituality? Journey from gross to subtle. It's involution. What has happened is evolution has happened. We have come from subtle to gross.
(09:05) See the most subtle is the ether element. Okay which is direction, sound, word. Now for example origin ohm is the origin of sound. M that translate first came and formed ether in whole in this life being the sound was the original source of ether. Yes it's and that is yes that is everything emanated from sound which is basically there's a ratio now for example what happens this whole thing began with sound. Mhm. Okay.
(09:39) Now from sound form got transformed into ether. Ether solidified became air. So here is two elements ether and air. That solidified further became fire. So three elements that solidified further became water. Four elements. See H2O it is basically there no differences the same. If you look at scientifically also then that solidified further became earth fifth element and earth has all five elements.
(10:08) Earth has of all five elements entire manifestation or has happened through the process of we call it evolution. What is spirituality? Involution. We are going back from five elements you go to four elements go to three go to two and finally one and then transcend all matter. These these five elements are basically matter. You transcend that is what spirituality is.
(10:31) Okay. Kundalini is a very special kind of energy. Okay. The fourth energy which is the most special. Why? Why is it special? What happens is see we have this again sorry I already talk about nadis there three nadis you know therea pingla and sushumna. Now the finer energies can only flow through sushimna. They cannot flow through and pingla naradi. Ida is more of subtle body.
(10:55) Pingla is a gross body with five elements. Okay. Ida is 17 elements. Five organs of action. Five senses of knowledge. The left hand left side. Yeah, it is because it starts flow starts from the at the root chakra muladhaar. Okay. It flows from like this from go starts from the left. It but again on sadish it comes to right.
(11:15) It goes like zigzag like snake that you know exactly like that like this like this like this and again it meets from his own side. That means from left pingala on the right side but it also zigzags in each chakra. We cannot say left and right you know. Okay. And it is pervades the whole body. So what is going to special kind of energy which which is very fine energy.
(11:38) What it does or know suppose you are a writer if you're kalini awaken you'll write better if you're a painter you'll paint better it's not only question of spiritual people and if you're a spiritual person you will be able to transcend this grossness the matter sooner than other people you know your journey becomes finer because what is happening is ultimately see there is there are we live at seven levels there are seven locas you know and human beings are only at the second Kundalini helps you to sort of go to that final level, higher level of
(12:12) consciousness more easily. You know this thing basically another part of mysticism is the different levels of existence. This existence that we are experiencing is just one level of existence. I'd love for you to tell us about the different kind of existence that are there. Yes, it's ironic that gurude puran you know it talks about different level of health you know suffering unfortunately there's no scripture which describes because there is spread out in different scriptures okay but there's no one compilation
(12:45) which talks about the seven level of existence seven levels of existence yeah there are seven levels of existence you know spiritually speaking in terms of levels of consciousness you know I think basically so the lowest is hell. You can Yes, you can say hell there kind of thing. But see, hell and heaven concept is not locationational in terms of experience.
(13:11) Actually, we have given in saying that lowest. These levels of existence are again not in terms of physically lower and higher. They are level of as I said finess you know consciousness, level of consciousness. How fine one is. The finer is the highest finest and more fine more gross more gross like that you can say the grossest level where everything is gross everything is more materialistic that is what the that level is all demons and the exactly that that concept of because all they're equally powerful in fact they're more powerful
(13:52) gods. They have defeated gods in many wars in many places times you know but the point is they are more negative you know in terms of destructive coming back to seven levels of blessing so bh which is below the earth you can one way say then bha which is the earth this level where we are all there we on the second level second level okay oh then there's a third level swah bua then higher than there is maha then janaha then tapa and then satyam.
(14:26) Now this each the level the what of the people who live there their limitations are less and less they are not dependent on food they don't suffer you know all that even a level higher than this what we call as sah who live there general believe that gandharas who are gandhas the musicians of gods you know people who sing for gods who play for gods basically who are very close to gods so they live there kind so like Then higher than that God himself live there.
(14:57) There are gods of different level of god. Then last three levels then these depending on our this thing say that Shiva is the highest then followed by Vishnu and followed by Brahma. Vashnavite will say Vishnu is the highest that loc and so we'll say Kalasha the highest like that kind of those are levels of existence.
(15:18) So in other words, what is happening in there for human beings there's too much sort of to experience at the higher level of uh consciousness, higher level of that spirituality because there are no limitations you know you are not dependent on food you're not dependent on you know this thing basically all this relational thing is not there is one that oneness you talk about that that oneness prevails you know we are with one and everything so there's no two No duality in the higher levels higher level even even so that begins with uh saha you
(15:52) know this kind of thing and as you go higher it becomes one and then so this is basically a puranic interpretation of that role of the highest the creator okay so all these seven existence are existing parallelly like those seven ex existences occur yeah but then what will happen is the person for example let's The pranih basically who is experiencing will be experiencing at one level at a time basically. Okay.
(16:24) So I am in the second loca. Chances are if I do well I could get promoted to the third or I could get demoted to the first loca. Yes you can go to that is also possible. If you are two tamasik too destructive to this thing basically. So that's why there's this whole concept of karma and punjma closely related you know your karma what will be your punar jarmma is related to what however you spend your life this life you know.
(16:53) Okay so in all of these humans reside like you said in the first loca the raashas or the demons also reside in the higher locas the dvdas or the gods reside. So is it just in the second loca that the humans reside or the humans would also reside in the is it very interesting if if we look at that who is at the second level in a way who are condemned we are condemned in in a way because they are people come here to exhaust their kmas and to exhaust their karmmas and get liberated that is the purpose human life there's no guarantee that we are going
(17:24) to come back as human in next life but people say once a human always a human yeah but then there are theories I think but it's It doesn't seem logical because if you have not really realized the importance of human as a human being. So then this bao concept comes you know pashuaba vao and dvy bhao and if you persist continue in vao the chances are you'll get to dyaba that there's a state and then the journey begins on those higher locas once you are in dya.
(17:54) How will my state be in the dvya? You you'll be free from any kind of suffering limitations. You can be at for example that what we call as you go higher what are the three qualities of god sa is unchanging is one you know things s means it's a changeless principle of change knows everything that nothing knowable for that and ananda always blissful perpetual state of bliss no suffering so you'll be experiencing those levels those things you know in other words literally you'll become god So once I attain the divey state, Dvya
(18:32) bha is it guaranteed that I will get promoted to the other locas the higher locas. Yes. Because see the point is like the basic you can say how this whole thing as in terms of spiritual these beliefs how they have been built up you know that thing basically by going by the the in a way history of you know how what has happened.
(18:56) Now what it says that for example now once you have lived Like in that bha for some time what you are doing you're not harming anybody you're not hurting anybody so you are everything is basically so what will happen your next life we decide that that last thought decides your next life the last thought that you depart here this kind and that's the chances are that last thought is going to be positive it's going to be higher it will not be regret it will not be you know something lower harming something so the chances as you'll get to that higher
(19:31) level. Okay. So that's why how you have lived your life that determines how will you depart from here. Namaskarum everyone. So we have an upcoming Ladak yoga retreat. It is yoga and sightseeing. The module that we will be taking up is the yogas module. It is a very subtle and powerful yoga module and this comes from a 15,000-year-old science.
(19:52) This has transformed my life completely and I can't wait for these tools to get to you. So please do join us. I look forward see you soon. Where is Kundalini energy located? Yes. Now it is generally believed that a lot of experiments have been done particularly in countries like South Korea, US and other thing that it is generated at the mooladar chakra.
(20:12) Now see muladar chakra is at the lower end of the spinal cord in the perennium for men and the cervix for women. Okay. Muladar chakra. Okay. Okay. Now this it's different for men and women. Yes. Now at that point now what does mulada represent? Earth element and that is what gives color to the E chakras also know that the muladar chakra is yellow why is yellow the color of earth the symbol of earth is a yellow square so that is what gives it yellow color and it is generally believed that people who have done sadena and kundalini sadena almost invarably
(20:45) universally that there's a smoky color shivalingum on that yellow square at muladhar which is sitting horizontally this would be in the energy body this would been an energy body they say and all things. So the linga would be sitting in the energy body. Yes. In the mooladhara for individuals who've done a particular kind of sadena. Yeah.
(21:04) We have channelneled the energies it is happening for everybody but people who are aware not channelizing it then they visualize it like a smaller and there it is kundalini is seen as a snake and here the yogis have seen them as a red color small tiny snake you know not fully grown small snake red color and it is coiled around three and a half times.
(21:24) Now this is very symbolic. There are because there are everything is three. There are three bhavas, three dshas, three gunas, three bodies, everything three. So he presents those three levels of existence and that three that half is the effort of spiritual people. Sadhak that is what differentiates that you know that ultimately and how you visualize that that snake that red color small snake has always keeps mouth open the tongue leaping out and all that.
(21:53) Okay. And what the saddaks do they just try to play with that tongue kind of thing. Idea is to arouse that snake so that it unwinds and rushes up you know and that feeling that is what that is how the whole kundalini sadena is done on muladhar. Okay. So that is the significance of kundalini and this is called a snake. snake. Okay.
(22:16) Okay. And then of course there are reasons why snake. Yeah. condalin energy for example see energy first of all never flows in a straight line you know it goes like exactly like a snake zig exact you know like that number two now that feeling when snake crawl anything crawling gives that creepy feeling you know that same thing initially when you awakening kalin you get the same feeling rising up that's then third thing kalini is energy which can be renewed and snake is a creature who renewed itself you know every six months can know it saves his
(22:53) skin you know just become totally new kalin had the same effort then it's very not everybody knows which snake is poisonous and which snake is harmless you so kalini again similar is dicey kundalini can have both effects you know I think it can if you channelize properly when you are prepared if you are sad see first thing is to become satic before you work on kalini sadena if you are Damasik and if you do kali sadena see what happens is it all the energy is stirred up and if you too much contamination too much everything
(23:27) everything rises you know so everything gets animated depending on what your state of being is that will get agitated so everything okay so when you say satic what is the kind of person I should be before awakening my kundalini yes first of all idea now satic people what they see there are there's three levels again kind what are the tamic people are basically going to they think negative, you know, basically negative people who think of harming others and all that kind of thing and they have no discrimination what to eat, what to
(23:56) drink. Their lives are not very regulated and no kind. They never see sunrise and all that kind of thing. People know people would disoriented people and drink, eat everything kind, you know, their whole thinking is very low, very gross. You know, they're negative is filled with negativity. Then there are rajaik people people very ali ambitious passionate people so which is higher than tamasi but lower than sadic you know I think basically so these people don't mind stepping on somebody crushing somebody to fulfill
(24:31) the ambition you people just use people through them you know just to fulfill and for what for power political power money power material things they just to for ego very egoistic people rajas these These two people are certainly not suitable for any kind of sad sadas particularly in kundalini sadena okay which is like snake literally it can it can really sort of bite you at any point of time so you should know that kind of handling that kind and satic people are who live know first of all that I'm not this body they know this but they are
(25:08) trying to realize that could you take us through some of the techniques through which I can awaken my kundalini Yes. The first of all the names of the chakras. Now your question is how can I arouse my kundalini? Now arousing kundalini involves following things. First of all awakening your nadis.
(25:28) Three kind of nadis. And when that happens when you there's a balance between and pingla then get sushna active and kalini flow through sushumna. So you have to first of all awaken your nadis mean balance your nadis. Sura that basically number one. So, so my basically the way I can test it is if my breath is equal. Yes. That's when I know my active is active.
(25:52) So, in a usual person, I've heard that the dominance of breath switches after every 40 minutes. Is that true? From right to left, left to right. Yes. Okay. It changes. And for yogis or let's say someone who very evolved then it'll be equal or the switch will be very quick. Correct.
(26:09) They can control it by will you know they want to make they want to do some manual work immediately think of their thing and their pingla will get active. Oh they want to do something more intellectual they think their will get into more intellectual and spiritual. Okay. So uh pingala will be manual work. Yes. And masculine work essentially. Yes.
(26:28) And will be the emotional work. Emotional and more mental. mental anything right now writing painting all these are involved in your level of creative work. So the second thing is now this is we have to have the understanding of nadis. Okay. Okay. Three naradis kind of thing. Okay. Then you have to have understanding of chakras. Okay.
(26:49) Now what are chakras? Chakras are basically the psychic points where this ida and pingala intersect. They intersect mean they don't really intersect but they're like a junction railway station. They pass there because they are ultimately in a channel you know nar basically. So these are the part. Now these are like switches.
(27:08) What are chakra? chakras are like switches okay they control certain aspects of our life can basically now muladhar chakra for example where the generation point of kalini is the switch or complete what you call that earth element if you want to awaken your earth element make it this and get away from it then you you need to understand what muladhar is all about and this soul sadena as I told you of playing with that snake making the snake move up what you have done you have taken the energy from mooladar It will go to sadhan. It will go to
(27:40) manipur and go to even higher depending on your level of sadena. Now each chakra represents one element. Each chakra represents one organ of action. Now muladada for example represents anus. It sense of knowledge. It represents nose. Each chakra. Okay. Then it represents one tan matra. So it represents smell.
(28:04) During this what you call uh that pandemic for example people loss of sense because what had happened their muladhar got totally disturbed you know so you will lo sense of smell even a lot of people and today also suppose you want to do that you little bit take some sadena on muladhaar chakra and your sense of smell will improve considerably okay and it has all these senses have direct correlation with the brain with mind cuz ultimately there are points in mind is connect these chakras you know so they become inactive so what When you
(28:35) muladar sad that particular point in the brain which controls gandha smell that gets activated. Sadishan represents water. Manipur represents fire element. Anahhat air element and this is what you call bishuti represents ether element. Can you tell me the location of the swadishtana? Yes. Now swadishtan actually is on the sacrum.
(28:59) You know this is the easiest way to do is basically to think of your kidneys. Okay, it is parallel to kidneys on the spinal cord back. And if you take it in terms of physical location, there are what is sacrum is the four or discs frozen together invariably between the second and third disc where they are joined together at that point. Mhm.
(29:22) But then what happens is particularly women for example after delivery it moves they get it gets affected you know and in case of people who are sort of have chronical diseases it get slightly it moves up and down but basically on the sacrum. So best thing is to think of your kidney and go to see the one mistake that most people do when they think of chakras they think in the front side here. Yeah.
(29:44) No that is that is we call it shram where the effect of that chakra is there but chakra is all all on the spine then you move up along the spine then you come to manipur where on the spine is not here in the navl you know okay it's believed that it's half an inch below the navl no this is on not below the navl that behind the navl in fact slightly on the spine if you put your finger in the navl like this put your finger on the spinal cord exactly opposite push them and where you can feel your uh manipur chakra literally you know on the
(30:21) spine literally similarly you can feel anahhat like this can feel vishudi like this here vishudi is not here vishudi is here on the spine the spine goes like this you know okay then they represent in terms of uh different tatras you know what you call different senses of knowledge each one as I told you manipuras is fire element then eye.
(30:47) Anahhata is air element is skin. Okay. Okay. So people who have good skin will have a good anahhata for example. Yes. Okay. And what is the organ related to the manipuraka? Manipur is organ related is uh you know eyes. Okay. Sense of the thing and feet fire element and as air element. Okay.
(31:06) So people who are say good dancers will have a good manipura. Is that in use that fat more then many people get runners. Okay. Okay. Okay. Anata you said was air element. Air element. Okay. And it has to do with hands generally people who are generous and hands are in as per Indian our scriptures are for giving. Yes.
(31:28) You know hands for you is forgiving. Now agya represents our mind. This is the seat of shi you know for example the short OM. Okay. Now what happens is now there's another aspect of each chakra has number of petals. Each chakra resembles a flower lotus. Why lotus? Because these chakras are there. They sort of we see almost all our gods and saints sitting on a lotus because sign of detachment.
(31:57) You know ultimately detachment is the key for spirituality. So these are the chakras. So and now our research has shown that the number of petals represents a number of chakras that are joined to that particular chakra. Okay. Muladhar has four petals. The four key chakras in that part of the body. Sadishan has six. Okay.
(32:19) The six chakras in that area. Six nadi systems. Manipur has 10. Ana has 12. Vishui has 16. So this is and aa has only two battles. So these petals are what? Sub chakras or naris? No they are actually they represent two things the key nari system that come and meet at that point the junction chakra jaka that is one and second thing is as I'm seeing it putting in that kind basically the we have these 112 chakras in the body correct so these chakras in the respective part of the body key chakras also represented by patterns so the seven are the main
(32:54) chakras and the other are the subordinate chakras. No, they're not really subordinate yet in the sense. See, second what happens is the if you're working on kalini hhu as per yoga the seven chakras plus vishudi very important bindu at the back of the know under the top tier. So these eight are very important.
(33:16) If you're using the tantric kind of this thing then there are 12 plus bindu 12 chakras. Okay. Okay. What sadish is basically what happens is pushes us up but also there's a randi the brahma granti it it blocks also kalini energy okay there it gets blocked there it gets blocked on anat with the vishnog granti it gets blocked here in kapala with rdrai the blockages are there what are these these are nature's way of protecting the power of this kundalini from getting into wrong hands by being misused but you can of course what happens If you're awakened
(33:55) you can just for example you will know what I'm thinking you can get into man's people you know they think yes yes then you will and you can see in terms of in future what is going to happen you don't have to thought your horoscope and all that kind of awakening of kalini is removal of your ignorance okay then there are meditation techniques now for example this soham is level one you know I am that I'm that I'm that kind basically.
(34:25) So now that what you can do is that we can do it on one particular chakra for example nahhat or you can do it by moving into two various chakras and there's a level two of sam sharam then kohham then sham level two that also can be simple way of mantra chant that mantra on chakras okay now for example it goes like muladar [Music] Oh um sh okay you can awaken chakra you can awaken take the kalinia okay okay okay then there are also there are number of as I told you there are 112 ways of only in in kashmir shaism then
(35:13) kria yoga is different then sura yoga is different you know there's also just by regulating your breath you can awaken your chakras you know when we talk about the kundalini me another term that comes up is the third eye and u many people think it's literally the third eye but it's not like your forehead cracked open it's a different dimension of perception can you explain to us what the third eye is see third eye is referred it as agya chakra basically in yoga it is called bru madyya in tantra bru madyya at the
(35:45) upper end of the spine in the middle of the head is a chakra third eye Okay. Now what happens is for all the people who are doing some any effort any endeavor to take the energy higher. So first where they get they take it to they to agya chakra because between agya and sasra this is more psychic.
(36:09) There's no nari there physical nari from agya chakra to sra is psychic mental you know the channel is not physical channel. You can only if you want to look at the spine ital from muladar to aa chakra. Okay. And so then now these two chakras are highly connected. Now for example there are two mudras for example China mudra you go into this when you think pan there's a nasakra mudra on the face.
(36:36) Now this one husta mudra china and this nasakra mudra when you take the side to tip of the nose what happens your these two chakras get integrated become one and the thing. Okay. So now for a lot of people you don't really need to start there. If you can go through the mudra route or kria route you can start the whole process here.
(36:59) And you have what you have done is you have circumventmented two grantis two knots blockages one brahma granti on s swadishtan and vishnog granty on anat. So you have only one grant left here and for that there are number of techniques that you can circumvent that you know kind of why is it called agya chakra because if it is developed for example now we work together for some time if a chakra is awakened I don't need to physically contact you make a phone call or I can just at a particular time I just can send you a signal to your
(37:33) chakra you'll know that your teacher or your whatever is is wanting you kind of thing And you can communicate with your guru with your teacher. That was why it was called a chakra. Okay. Telepathy. Yes. Telepathy has some amount of what you call ambiguity you know. But here is direct communication.
(37:51) You can see your guru. You can hear him. You can really sort of interact with your guru. I think basically this is like that's how people connected to gods in all the olden times they talk to. Yeah. One interesting example is their distances between earth and stars or star and planets you know. Now millions of years back our rishies sages they could measure that distance and nobody can question that even by a centimeter you know they think how did they do correct because their belief was that Brahmande whatever is there in Brahand pindi same thing as in this pind
(38:28) they visualized everything within you know all these and within there they could have their own measurements you know within the body so the entire universe is within you so if you know yourself you know the universe in why this happens because at the level of soul we are all one the finer you get the you were more like soul then for you this distance to of body it doesn't make a difference no you can feel my emotions you can feel what I'm thinking my thoughts my everything organic musically because at that level we are one to
(39:00) continue watching shorter pieces of this content you can subscribe to shloka clips on YouTube don't forget to like this video and follow us on Spotify pronam aura is another topic that fascinates a lot of people including me and it is said that if you can gauge one's aura then you will know everything about their physical structure mental structure karmic structure even their past and future is that true what is aura aura is basically our immunity immunity yes what does immunity does it protect retains our energy within us and
(39:34) protects us from outside energies outside bacteria He has everything. Okay. Now that is one aspect which has been proven. Now what is aura is dependent on the flow of energies within. So when you say you can know about the past present kind of thing you certainly know about the how the energies are flowing in the person.
(39:51) It'll be energy flow pattern in the body. Now are they rhythmic? are they sort of synergized or they are chaotic you know I think basically so that will determine now what has been found out again lot of research been done particularly in South Korea where I'm associated with that the more you use your mind that the your the more your aura gets distorted there is direct relation with use of mind and aura on immunity this is my explanation that because with the more mind you use the mind gets starved off these nutrients and all that
(40:24) so you get more confused Boo clarity of mind goes you don't know who you are you know they think basically and you think you are body matter that distorts everything kind of so that could possibly the reason but the fact is that aura is has direct relation with our mind the more mind we use that basically particular lower mind you know the thing basically the more it is distorted when you say lower mind it means mana buddhi vivea then fragya Then atma at higher level if you use the mind if you go to from don't use it like mana as you know
(41:02) like a monkey which is monkey mind monkey mind you know go to at the level of buddhi intellect little higher you know kind of little stable go to vive level so the higher the thing and in fact what lot of people successful in life they don't operate at mind level you know this is the differentiates if you look at people in society even in material world who are successful who They don't use mind at the lowest level you know they not they not eating sleeping reproducing that's is one one interpretation but they are reactive
(41:32) people okay they are always impulsive yeah they they're impulsive people you know there impulse or reactive they don't allow okay this is actually what happens in now is human only human being this aura doesn't when animals whatever aura they have it it doesn't get distorted like human beings animals also have an aura yes animals have also aura trees have auras temples have rivers.
(42:01) You know why that see this is our ancestors were really very wise people they realize that the aura of the river is is healing is purifying you know it is spiritual that it gives you the spirituality pushkar every lake you know basically paricma why this paricas because all these places of faith When you go around that you are sort of embiving that aura, purifying with that powerful you don't do more than
(42:48) halfhur of Shiva is so powerful not everybody didn't take it. So they say so this wholeation is a big thing you know just a scientific thing and if you go for example in many places here and by olden days in India we did not worship statue temples you know what they call there are no temples there no there was no temple worship traditionally temple there's no temple worship there was no morti puja morti puja yeah so at that time what were the what was worship Five elements.
(43:23) We worshiped earth. Then we woripped tree which is basically symbolic of water element and earth element. Okay. Nothing basically. Then we worshiped river lakes water element. Now pushkar for example one of most important the lake was the main dity. The temple came much later. Okay. So people there why three times? Huh? Yes. Because
(44:08) everything is three. Three bodies. Oh, beautiful. Three dshas, three gonas, three bhavas. And what are the colors of the aura? Because I've heard that the auras can range from pitch black to white. The aura affects your chakras. The flow energy flow in the body. Okay. So which chakra gets more dominant? That way this the color is the thing.
(44:33) What happens is normally there are cracks on the aura you know they think basically the cracks on the aura. So what and can look very frightening actually some other and that is happens when the person is totally fragmented in the sense imbalanced you know can mentally divided can struggling the auras are very fragmented the person is very very peaceful there's a tradition in India a lot of people for example they used to write what does it do it just balances your aura And the flow of energy it creates a particular flow of
(45:18) energy. Okay. So it balances your aura. Oh, when that exercise you know mantra ja also similarly balances your aura. So auras have this thing coming back to your color. Yes. If it's more fragmented, it will be more vivid. And initially, initially when you start seeing them then and slowly as a person spiritually grows. Okay.
(45:50) And then it turns to a course lighter colors, you know. So when a baby is born, he or she will have a brown aura. No a baby is born baby will have a very clear aura because like a I'll tell you that divine aura the satwa has three colors tama has three colors predominantly and raja has three colors satwa raja and tama tama are dark black dark brownish unpleasant brownish burgundy kind of you know dark so people who are tamasik will have brown burgundy black or rajasik is red bright red kind of like a blood red kind of thing and then green dark berry green
(46:28) kind of thing basically bright color violet or crimson one of these two colors that is of rajas and satwa is white and very soothing yellow all these are basically within white is the first and yellow is second and then purplish kind basically so these are the three colors pretty dominant what is a technique through which I can purify my aura changing Om chanting Om yes there is something called the first letter of Sanskrit b is o when you chant om loudly is called omara chanting okay so if you do it omara it creates a brea around you which
(47:10) is basically brea of aura what is breth brea is circle okay brea means circle like an aura circle of how you seen the pictures of gods and saints aura is like that only you know around you it's proven that enhances increases your aura. Okay. And you chant it nine times which is called omcarata as per tantra.
(47:32) It restores it completely. Next 24 hours at least you are protected. You know the thing basically just nine times. Nine times. Nine is a complete number. So chanting nine times can purify my aura. Yes. Purify it will completely restore it. Okay. and keep you protected and or as you say amenity it to keep you protected all day you know from everything and and makes you more confident.
(48:00) So even if you don't have time for whole sad just do chant to om nine times what chant is bring the lips closer it turns seal the lips every once more so it is basically chanting soara this is can you take us through the technique of chanting arm correctly see I'm chanting it on anahhat now it will always depend on which chakra you chant it will sound differently really yes now I'll chant it for you on muladar and chant it on and chant it on a okay three three times or nine times will be too long three times [Laughter] [Music] okay same thing on on
(49:04) [Music] Oh, same thing on a Oh. [Music] Oh, [Music] in fact you should be try to make the all three sounds equal you know in my case more became shorter because I'm not sitting properly should be sitting so there so a um have to be of equal time duration as far as possible but they represent three different aspect of life again our belief is that there's a
(49:48) causal body that travels from from life to life. What is the causal body? Okay, now this is it takes us to physiology of yoga. Okay, there's a s third body which sort of supports it which is the cause of these two bodies. It's called causal body. There's no matter here soul has no matter but when you as long as it is encased in causal body it cannot be totally free.
(50:12) So it has to get out of that. So that is why this higher chakras you know this higher than sastra then asra so no trace of matter atma atma then of course we say atm there's no difference between atma and brahma so you can declare I'mma ask now this also is a very wonderful sadena itself you know just chanting repeating these three mantras oh maham atma atm brahma Amraasi.
(50:46) So this is the the equation was so these are three bodies. Now these three bodies are further divided into five koshas five sheets. Gross body is sort of corresponds to anamay kosha. What is anamay kosha? The outer sheet which is made up of five elements is sustained by five elements. What are five elements? Food is five elements. Okay.
(51:07) And when it disintegrates it merges in five elements. Earth, fire, wind, water, space. Yes. But subtle body sukn shar has three koshas pranamay manoma and vikyani. Now what is pranamay kosha? Is the vital body the breath body. It's a different body which is sustained by breath. And please remember that all actions happens in pranamay.
(51:31) Then higher than that is manaya mind body mind sheath. All the thought happens there. Then higher than that is vigyanay where there is no balance between no synergy between pranamaya and manaya then there's chaos all these people lots of people the people disoriented destructive people that is what is that this is the problem that pan actions are different and thought is different you know there's no synergy between the two if there's a balance between the two then you going to be then your life is balanced you become turn to become satik and if you are
(52:05) there then for you it becomes easy to go to last kosha which is anand kosha which is same nothing no different from causal body then you live in that what you call pragya that consciousness that I am not this body I am soul similarly now there are three bodies five koshas okay then there are five pranas we say prana is not one part of body affected dominated by different prana main prana which is inhale and exhale mostly unconsciously is prana which goes into lungs Then there is samana which is outside lungs
(52:39) inside the rib cage in thoracic area. Then there is aana which is in the abdomen. Then there is udana which is in the extremities head, hand and this thing. And this is vana which is everywhere but it has a emergency breath. So these five kind of breath understanding of these five breaths. So what happens is now look at ashtanga yoga raj yoga what it does it yama and yama first two thing.
(53:05) What yama does is it gives you peace of mind. Without peace of mind, you can't do anything meaningful in life. Spirituality is a far more challenging. So peace of mind is not peaceful. If you're agitated, you can't do anything. So yas give you peace of mind. What are yamas? Ainsa no violence nonviolence satya non- lying aa non stealing what you call uh uh brahmachara non excessive behavior in every respect particularly in terms of sex and then aparigra non- greed you know non- craving for this thing ashtanga yoga is not a brand of yoga as
(53:43) most people think right ashtanga yoga means eight limbs of yoga yes ashtanga is the one of the names of patanjali yoga Next comes asa yogasana. Now yogasana is not many people know is three things is physical movement synchronized with breathing and awareness either on a physical point or on a chakra other it is physical exercise then you better you go to a gym.
(54:06) No and that's why a lot of people they think you are doing as you know this thing but no they are doing physical exercise it keeps them there. If you do yogasa with these three things what it will do it will immediately take you from gross body to subtle body. So grossness of the body literally dissipates with yoga asas with yoga asas.
(54:25) So there's something called yoga mantra you know it's very wonderful it says having saluted guru traditional thing this is what yoga does what it does is to show to reveal to show us well what it reveals your true self to yourself and once that happens what suka you live in perpetual state of bliss suk becomes your both your constant awareness There are no suffering because soul knows no suffering.
(54:57) So this is what it happens. If you do yogas correctly, you'll get into subtle body. So body will not draw your attention. Today what is happening is you sit in meditation the physical body is drawing your attention that stops. That is the purpose of yoga. That body becomes so flexible. You live in a subtle state of existence.
(55:22) And pranayama the fourth limb takes you from subtle to cosal body. That's why pranayama is so powerful. Any pranayama for that matter better but technique is very very important. Pranayam what is pranayama? Pratani has defined in one kumbak is pranayama. There are three aspects of breathing. Inhaling which is called purak.
(55:44) Then kumbak holding and rachuk which is exhaling. Now you cannot hold you cannot hold unless you inhale and you can't hold indefinitely. You have to do this thing. So Patanjali calls kumbak holding his breath and our breath and mind are very closely linked. Manopraan correct. So if I'm angry my breath will be unact so if you can control your breath you control your mind. Uhhuh.
(56:10) Cuz one is responsible for action other is responsible for thought. If you control your action even if your thought is violent. If action you restrain will not become violent. There are four inner ones which is fifth. Now pratahara. Now that is the most important limb of ashtanga or yoga for that matter which is pratahara.
(56:32) I know literally pratahara means regulating aar of your mind food of the mind. Yes. In other words let the senses be under control. And what is control means here? Not suppression but disinterest in the material world. Then ifara happens if your senses get withdrawn from the material world. Six is dhana concentration. What is concentration? Just being able to put mind is flicker physi.
(56:59) So it has to be putting at one place one point one mantra one thing one thing you know kind basically that is dhana. If you do that for a a certain period of time, it will get turned into dhana which is meditation. So meditation cannot be made to happen by closing your eyes the mind will start racing all the more. So if you are able to get up to prathara then if you are able to concentrate on a particular one one topic one thing you know a single point at concentration that will at then dhana will meditation can happen and if meditation happens
(57:33) then at some point of time you can get absorbed in that object of meditation if you're chanting kanesh mantra you can become kanesha if you are you can soul like then then that has happened that's why so you become embody you become an embodiment of that of that so the mind and you merge and become one. Absolutely.
(57:51) The object of meditation and you become one. That is what samadhi. So you can become god. You can absolutely you can become divine. Absolutely. Okay. And that is samadhi. That is what samadhi. Now tomorrow suppose I'm in I just declare myself I'm Shiva which is a fact. Yeah. If I start living like Shiva people will see me as Shiva.
(58:09) Now why no don't see me as Shiva? Because they know that I'm limited with what is name family there. All kind of things limitations are there. No. So that is all who responsible for that I'm responsible for that. So we are not living at that level. So that is a different approach which is this Krishna and Radha you know Rha what happens every time Krishna plays a flute and all these rupies leave everything whatever they are doing this is how the Bhagwa describes everything you know use the boat go to the other end what first thing what you do is you
(58:47) discard that Okay. The po leave the port and rushes and become gets into the embrace of Krishna and becomes one. Now these are the three three things here. This explains dhana and samadi. The first stage of dhana there was Krishna's flute that Gopia was hearing. Gopia was separate. Okay.
(59:14) So and that's intense desire to go and merge with this thing that she had. Okay. So there's a medium. Now here what is the medium? She's using that boat to get across. But that medium has to disappear. When they get the other end of this thing river she leaves the medium. So similarly mantra japra the mantra has to disappear.
(59:34) It disappears. Okay. You know if you are using visualization just form that form disappears. Okay. That's how first what happens is what remains there's two elements of the three element meditator medium and object of meditation the medium has disappeared. So meditator and object of meditation that is what becomes dhan meditation and stage comes when the meditator disappears.
(1:00:03) Okay meditator dissolves into the dissolves in the object of meditation and that is what samadi is. Now then not many people know that our right lung is 30% larger than the left. Why is that? On the left side the heart is there. So the lungs have to make space for heart. So left lung is 30% smaller. No.
(1:00:23) And it is also fact that when you inhale and exhale from the right nostril you use your right lung. Every time you are using your right to right lung you are providing 30% more oxygen to your system. Now there's a particular asa called masakratasan or flapping fish pose where you sleep on the left side without a pillow. Okay. Your head is like on the left side.
(1:00:44) Your body is straight. Left leg is straight. Right leg is folded. Right uh toe comes behind the left knee. Okay. Like this. Now that is the ideal sleeping position for the night. If you start sleeping in that position, you get 8 hours sleep in 4 hours. Literally. There have been so many experiments and there are so many other benefits.
(1:01:06) If just sort of Google this saying that benefits of sleeping on the left side 1.25 25 26 benefits. Okay, there's first of all more oxygen. Then our heart is rested on the floor. The gravity is not working that our lung and pancreas are at a level where the secretion happens easily that and it flows gas gets merged into the food kind basically and your gross body is active you know then your mind is totally peaceful senses are peaceful you'll sleep far more you know the thing and this is sure short remedy for people a lot of people whatever particularly
(1:01:38) people older people they have to get up in the night to go to L they sleep less hours they don't have to go that kind of thing a lot of small kids they w their beds, put them on the left side, they think they will never wet the bed. See the yoga is closely related to our life basically how we live.
(1:01:54) You know in spirituality numbers have been given a lot of significance like you were mentioning there's three then there is 64 there is 108 you know rdra leads are 108 what is the reason of these numbers for example in 108 I've been told that the diameter of the sun and uh the distance between the sun and the earth is 108 times the diameter of the moon and the distance of moon and earth is 108 times so what do these numbers signify in spirituality my understanding uh Shloka is that 108 is the number of chakras that are in body. Okay. And that
(1:02:29) important chakras important because when you go to this people who do acupressure, acupuncture, acupuncture particularly this thing, they will put those pins at 108 points. Okay. So 108 beads on a mala and all that kind of thing. So you touch almost every of those important chakras in the body, those psychic points the body, you know, important points.
(1:02:52) So that is what my understanding is 108 and there's another important number in in spirituality is nine because 9 is considered the complete number after that highest number after that 10 onward and beauty of nine is you no matter you multiply it by any number of times it remains nine so that's called complete number so 9 has that significance and then other for example mala is 10 can be divided into 54 you know half then what you call 54 will in 26 like that half of so that is half of the chakras kind important points in life thank you mama for thank
(1:03:30) you so much podcast and um like I mentioned this podcast is perhaps the most special podcast that I've done in in the limited podcast that we've done hope to see you back sometime in the future any last parting words yes let the viewers also feel the same way then nice thank Thank you so much for this opportunity and uh I really enjoyed the session and I'm sure the thing is and if they can benefit from whatever I have said it will be because my purpose of all sharing my knowledge sharing my sadena is to remove distortions. Yes. So
